Once we arrived, the camp itself was really well maintained. The cabins were clean, comfortable, and a great setup for a group. I was especially impressed with how clean the showers and restrooms were, not always something you expect at a camp, but they were kept in really good condition. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and they helped make the whole experience run smoothly. The views and surrounding landscape are stunning, and it's such a peaceful place to spend time outdoors. Overall, it was a great experience for a school trip and a perfect place for kids to enjoy nature in a safe, clean, and beautiful environment. I would definitely come back again.

New Leadership + Hard-Working Staff = An Amazing Experience!…read more We've been bringing groups to this retreat site for over five years, so we could immediately tell that something had changed--and it was a wonderful change! From the moment we booked our group to the time we left the campsite, everything went smoothly. Two weeks ago, we brought over 100 college students to Pilgrim Pines for a new student retreat, and we were pleasantly surprised by the level of attention and care the staff provided. The main lodge was clean and well maintained. The staff went above and beyond to help us set up our technology, including microphones and a projector for workshop presentations, as well as surround sound for our dance party. They also made sure the bonfire was well stocked with plenty of wood for our large group. But the biggest difference--aside from the attentive staff--was the food! We've been here more than five times, and the new chef did an outstanding job. We enjoyed broiled chicken, corn on the cob, baked potatoes, and other healthy options, all kept warm in chafing dishes. The salad bar was fresh, and the condiments were well stocked. And, the local area is known for their apple orchards, so they incorporated them into a warm apple sliced dessert. It was not too sweet, but fresh and gave us a nostalgic feeling. I can go on and on, but we just wanted to thank you for making our stay a memorable one. Until next year!!!

The warm mini cinnamon sugar cider donuts and icy cold cider slushies are always delicious, plus u-pick raspberry season opened this past Friday (8/14/26) for weekend Fri-Sun picking. Raspberry picking was so much fun! For $20/3-pint flat (or $10/pint), we waded through the summer brambles and picked so many delicious magenta gems. We gobbled some raspberries straightaway at a shaded picnic table and made jam with the rest. A special shoutout to Josh, whose smiling kindness, excellent knowledge, and extra-thoughtful offer to split a full slushie into two cups for the little ones in our group made the visit even better. The store is wonderful, too, with homemade jams, jellies, and canned fruits and vegetables, olive oils and vinegars ($8/tasting), rustic merchandise, and a backroom bar featuring homemade wines ($20/5-wine tasting or $12/glass). The orchard has a good-sized parking lot as well as two bathrooms. PRO TIP: wear long pants if you want to avoid thorny brambles while raspberry picking!

Would highly recommend getting a photo booth for inside. It's just so much fun and a great way to capture everyone that came to celebrate you. The dessert table was so elegant with tons of options to either eat there or to take to go. The cake....oh the cake! So very beautifully decorated with matching flowers of the ceremony. The cake itself was so tender and flavorful. What is the cherry on top to this venue is that you and selected guests can actually stay! We thought that the first staff members we approached could have been more informative and welcoming, but no biggie. We came for the lavender festival (paid $77.90 with VIP parking). The scent of lavender wafting through the back patio was serene. The lavender fields offered scenic photo opportunities as well. The lavender themed cocktails were delicious. Pricey (paid $40+ w/tip for 2 drinks), but damn good. The matcha room offered high quality tea with balanced flavors (~$12+ w/tip). We loved the little shops offering unique items. The crafting area had engaging crafts; each station was about $8. We decided to make bookmarks using dried flowers. Staff at the crafting area were friendly and helpful. We also booked high tea. We loved that it was located at their back patio. There was a nice breeze and a good view of the lavender fields. Personally, I thought there was too much foot traffic during tea but other people in my party didn't mind. Our waitress was friendly, but a tad slow and unfortunately brought out the wrong tea. Overall, the food was good. We loved the curry sandwich the most along with a few of the desserts. The lemon poppy was fantastic! We paid $201 for this experience.

As soon as we got to the parking area none of the staff knew what we were talking about. No one knew if we had parking paid, no one knew where the event was and they didn't know where to send us. I showed them the flyer and they let us park so we went in. We talked to about 5 different employees and then we found the front lobby one directed us to. Once we figured out where we had to go we decided to get some drinks. I went up to the first drink place near the parking lot. Once I got up to order you could tell the cashier was very unhappy. I ordered two alcoholic drinks. She immediately said if I was giving alcohol to someone else I was going to have the cops called on me. I told her no I just wanted to try two drinks. She rang me up and once I picked up my drinks she again said to me, if I see you giving this to one of your little friends you will be escorted out and the police called on me. If someone reads this review it was an older white lady with dreadlocks working the booth. I am 26 years old I don't know what she targeted me for looking young and I didn't have any girlfriends with me. After that experience, I found the farmer that was leading us on the strawberry field picking. She was amazing, you could tell the farmers had a ton of passion with what they did. It was amazing history about the farm and then we all picked fresh strawberries at the end. They also gave us free fresh lemonade.
