Loved one was in the hospital, a couple family members wanted me to pick something up for her, so I suggested we all go in on an Edible Arrangement. You can't just go in a pick something up, like you sometimes can with a florist. You have to order it ahead of time. Fortunately, I was able to order and pick up in about an hour. It was fantastically speedy. After a touch of confusion about the timing of the order, I arrived just before closing time. I was greeted by a very jovial, kind of hilarious dude. He commented on my shirt (my Flight of the Conchords concert t) and questioned me about my name. He was highly amused by my saying that, "my name is American Indian, but I'm about as white as they come." I'd paid on the phone earlier, so the transaction was pretty effortless and the guy helped me carry it out to the car. It was beautiful (posting a picture here) and HUGE, but kind of spendy.
