So I decided to give it a try…read more After scheduling my appointment and showing up on time, they had over booked themselves and were short handed so the appointment took longer than they anticipated. I was initially happy with the tint, but soon realized that it needed to be redone for a small defect; (it was obstructing my view). I called and spoke to the daughter of the owner who assured me they could retrim the tint (it was an eyebrow tint over the windshield) for no additional charge. Sounded good! I showed up and they tore the original work they had done and then told me that they couldn't trim the tint, but they would happily replace the tint for an additional charge of $35. It was a shakedown for sure. They had absolutely no customer service. I asked to speak to the manager (her father) but was told he wasn't available. After some haggling, they replaced the tint but did such a terrible job that there are streaks in the tint, bubbles throughout the work, and left over residue throughout the dash of my vehicle. I will not return to this place and warn everyone about Tall City Tint. Pictures are attached. You can see the streaks and other materials that were left on the windshield. Update: Finally made contact with the owner of this shady business. My thoughts have not changed. This place and the staff are not honorable. Customer beware!

For context, some of the pillar/door body panels on my car needed to be removed in order to access the windshield. They removed them, replaced the windshield, and then replaced the panels afterwards - all with no issues. A couple days later, one of the panels fell off when I was on the highway, and I wasn't able to recover it. Now I'm out an extra $1200 to replace it, and they gave me the "we're not liable for anything except the glass" excuse and have been giving me the silent treatment ever since. Smh.

Needless to say, he broke the windshield. His sister is supposedly part owner of the business. She called me and was VERY rude. They have done nothing to help or rectify the issue. My insurance company told me that they should be filing a claim to replace my windshield, but they have ignored my calls and text messages. I finally filed the claim on my insurance and will have to pay the deductible. Please do not ever use this company. I would not want this to happen to you. Thank goodness we have cameras where I work- I am filing a complaint with the BBB and sending them the video and pictures.

The price has now changed 3 times and gone up by $300. I finally after 6.5 hours got to get my vehicle and the price was CHANGED again! So I pay and later on call back because my tint is lighter than I expected and turns out they indeed over charge me after I even asked 2 times!! i was frustrated by now and the lady in the front wasn't even going to tell me all the requirements for after care until I asked myself. The new bumper they put on wasn't even installed correctly -- my dad had to pop it in because it was hanging loose. The paint didn't even match and was already cracking. On top of that, my horn doesn't work, my cruise control doesn't work, my outside temperature sensor stopped working, half of my driver-side headlight doesn't work, and even the battery warning light came on after their so-called "repair." When I took it to a real mechanic, they told me this was one of the worst jobs they've ever seen. They said whoever worked on my vehicle didn't even bother to plug things back in properly. That explains all the electrical issues I'm now dealing with. When I asked Julio about it, he suddenly claimed the wires were "spliced up," which is completely untrue. Funny how he only mentioned that after I brought up the check engine light and other problems. If I hadn't said anything, he probably wouldn't have admitted to anything at all. To make things worse, the customer service is just as bad. His mother, who works the front desk, was rude as hell. When I asked how long the repair would take, she gave me attitude and snapped back, "None of your business. When you have your own shop you can do what you want." Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Julio also ignored my calls and texts, and when I finally reached out again, he acted like he didn't even know who I was. Totally shady. And to top it all off, he randomly told my wife he was "7 months sober from meth." Totally unnecessary and not something a customer should ever hear.
