Pros:
-Good to have another restaurant option in this area
-Nice, friendly staff
-Decent gyros at good prices ($4.33/each)
-Pretty good fries (add your own salt)
-Fairly extensive menu
-Prices seem decent
Cons (Suggestions for improvement):
-Did not like rice (clumpy, strange-textured "rice-a-roni" rice with oversalted/msg flavor; would've greatly preferred regular rice)
-No feta cheese available for gyros
-Lackluster lower-quality pizza
-No fries came with gyro plates (last time we ordered 5 "gyro plates" and were given 5 gyros each w/fries; this time we ordered "gyro plates" and were given the rice we didn't like instead of the fries; when we mentioned how it was last time we were told gyro plates only come with rice)
-Would be nice if they included another (at least 2) of their small containers of tzatziki sauce per gyro
-Would be nice if they reorganized & reprinted their "dining-in" menus & made those easier to understand. (We went for dinner; considering there was a Breakfast side with a boldfaced "Absolutely no breakfast served after 11 o'clock" underneath that, then the other side was "Lunch" but then right underneath that heading were steak entrees (as if those were dinner?), but then right under just steak entrees said "Lunch Sandwiches" and then just simply "Plates"... (the catfish dinner special was located on the "Lunch" page but at least that indicated that it was served evenings), and all that was on the back were sides & beverages, no "Dinner" category anywhere, we weren't sure which things were lunch items and which things were dinner items or if we could order certain things or not (plus, we did not want to be accidentally ordering "lunch" if, like breakfast, you cannot get lunch after a certain time). So, their menus could use some work. :-)
I hope this restaurant will do well here & will get even better, and I hope the ownership will read and be encouraged and benefited by my comments and suggestions. :-) read more
