I witnessed the owner tell a girl more than once to bring the clothes back to the counter and when she asked where the clothes were. a woman showed up saying she was rude. she wasn't apart of the conversation and did not know the girl. Which I thought was crazy because the woman didn't even know if the girl stole something or damaged the store's property. The woman followed the owner around saying she's rude and wagging her finger in the owners face, I have never seen the owner get mad before. I feel bad for the owner so I decided to write a good review. Her stores amazing and the prices are great! You can get shirts for $19 and I love the tank tops. She has Island Dresses which I use to go to bed. I've had some of her clothes for over 10 years have not torn or gone bad.

For instance, I found some "Melissa & Doug" toys and ended up buying one for an upcoming birthday present. It was a rug with a race track laid out on it and it came with four race cars. We have two family members currently into gnomes and this shop had a lot of variety in the gnome department. One we purchased was a girl gnome because it had pigtails. I had not seen that before. If it is, then you're in luck! This place has all of that and then some. Downstairs, there are lots of little gifts, knickknacks, trinkets and stocking-stuffer-type things. Sunglasses, lip gloss, funky earrings, bath bombs, journals and pens, books, home goods and lots more. There are also some Bible devotionals and signs with Bible scripture on them. I think Mulberry Cottage leans Christian, and what made me even more convinced of this is the music playing throughout the store (Christian music). This store also likes its signs: There are chalkboard signs with phrases like "Home is where family gathers" and "Bless our home" and other such anodyne phrases. This boutique is very colorful and cute, though. As soon as you step inside, you feel like you're in a special place, and I immediately wanted to take photos. The pastel rainbow-colored staircase leading you up to the clothing section deserves to be captured in a selfie, for sure.

I had not wanted to spend much on the trip -- and, well, Blush on Main ended that fantasy pretty quickly. Blush on Main has racks and racks of beautiful women's clothes and accessories. If it weren't for being pregnant, I may have revelled in these racks a bit more. My sister-in-law, though, found a few items to try on here. What I really loved was Blush on Main's hat collection. I'm a sucker for a great hat (for proof, see my main Yelp profile pic). This shop had a few varieties that were particularly good for more regular wear, such as when outside at home, at farmers markets, on vacation, etc. I found a straw hat with a blue band that I had to have. It cost around $45, I believe, which was over my budget for the day (see the second paragraph above) but not so much to break the bank. I forked over my credit card, and I wore the hat the rest of the day. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law also got great hats. She does not greet us, doesn't ask if she can help or if we need help, NOTHING.... we stopped by today and I walked through the door to her 1. On the phone (what a surprise), 2. stuffing food in her mouth. I said "hello" when I walked in because she looked right at me then proceeded to stuff more food in her mouth and rant on the phone. I looked around for a few minutes but left without purchasing anything just in pure annoyance. I enjoy seeing what new clothing items she gets in her store, but the hospitality needs a bit of work.
