Style Encore is a mature version of Plato's closet. They cater to the older woman looking for a bargain. It's girls only sorry guys-there's no guys section here like Plato's. They have a nice selection of name brand fashions at a discounted price. They follow the same concept where you can sell your gently used items, but they are very particular in the look they desire. If your items are too "young" looking, they probably won't accept them. This is the sister store to Once Upon A Child, which is how I found them; so they work together and give you customers coupons for the other store when you shop with them. They are a bit more expensive to be a second-hand store, but you get more name brand options so there you go. The young lady forgot to share all the information about all the perks of signing up (I only know this because my sister checked out after me and the cashier shared it w/her) no biggie but worth mentioning. They are very picky on what items they take. I've had brand new clothing with tags attached named Brand and they didn't take any of them.

I had brand new items with tags and they did not take any of it. This will be the last time I take my clothes here since they don't know what trendy style is! Waste if time! read more

Terrible place to take nice clothes for consignment. They offer almost nothing and then tell you items are more than 2 years old! If you look at their inventory of items to be sold, items are more than 2 years old. Don't waste your time going here. read more

I have been here three times to sell clothes and although I made a fair amount of money here, I felt very awkward walking into the store and I felt judged the entire time. If they weren't fair in the amount of money they gave me for my clothes, I honestly probably wouldn't go back. read more

Today was the last time I ever visit this store. I've been here several times in the past, each one the same experience: being glared at and looked down upon by some of its staff members, specifically an older woman, and never being able to sell a single thing to them despite NWT designer brands. I have brought in things to consign twice - both times they don't take a *single* thing - then I go directly to *another* Style Encore that exact day, and they have offered me anywhere from $20-$95. For the exact same stuff. This store really blows, and I've never bought anything from here either because I see so many rips and stains and super old designs and fits. It makes no sense that they'll turn down a 2018 NWT J. Crew in exchange for JC Penney branded jeans with stains. I don't recommend coming here to sell your clothes *or* to shop. read more

Better off selling at a garage sale or donating your items. They offered to take 6 items from the 9 I brought in. Amongst the items were a floor length evening gown from Macy's, a two piece navy suit Calvin Klein, and 3 cocktail dresses: Jessica Simpson, Vince Camuto, and ASOS. They offered me $40. Which after walking around and looking at the selection in the store there's no way they wouldn't sell the floor length dress for $40 alone. I politely took my things back. Hopefully a high schooler will find something nice to wear to prom once these items are donated. 2 stars because the staff were polite and attentive. read more

This place is tucked in next to At Home but it's always worth a visit. The clothes are often very gently used or even new. I always find a great deal in here! The staff always is willing to help and signed me up for their rewards program. I enjoy this store more than regular consignment stores. read more

The prices in here are incredible, I got the most beautiful duster for just $6! The selection was huge and I ended up leaving with more than just that. I have always been helped when coming in and have never felt they were over pricing their items. Will most definitely be back in! read more

I walked into the store with my mother and 2 women (1 in her twenties, the other women older) looked up from the counter and continued to do whatever they were doing. As they were BOTH still standing at the front counter "looking busy" we were checking out all the purses. Mid you we both had a purse in our hands ready to buy (1 coach, and 1 Kate spade) we continued to walk throughout the store, up and down all the aisles. Both women went down an aisle to hang up clothes and STILL no contact. Therefore we walked up to the counter Neither women were up there and sat the purses on the counter. The young women (nice) asked if we were ready to check out and I politely said we were but we were ignored and not greeted by the other 2. And we left the building, as we were leaving the mid twenties women had a smart A comment. Needless to say I won't be returning or giving money to a store like that. I love stopping by here and always find awesome deals! Lots of items still with tags on them and everything else is in excellent condition. They have a great selection for all sizes. Love the staff as well. These ladies are always busy, but find time to help me out. I get so many compliments on the items I buy in here and I always refer friends to both buy and sell. The clothing in the store is okay (though they sell LulaRoe products, which are known to be VERY cheaply made), however the staff gave off a standoffish vibe rather than a welcoming one, as if I was bothering them for coming in. One woman though (Amanda) was very helpful and I appreciate her desire to help me if I needed to find a specific type of clothes. Thank you Amanda. Selling clothes isn't going to get you very far here either. I came in with two boxes of clothes and left with only 2 items taken out. I wasn't expecting a lot of money from them, but I was hoping that they'd take more than just 2 items so I didn't feel like I could've gotten more out of them if I went somewhere else. Overall, you could spend about 10 minutes in here and be done looking for anything good. read more

Worst experience ever!! The employees had extremely poor hygiene, the clothing in the store was sub-par, and I saw them actively turn down brand names like Anne Taylor, Gap, Loft, Banana Republic. Do not shop or donate here!!! Give your clothes to another store that values name brands and hires better qualified employees. read more
