They truly cater to what you want out of the experience. The hospitality was out of this world! The family and all that work there are so warming and knowledgeable. I tried venison that Maria had shot herself, quartered and hauled back to the ranch. it was AMAZING!!!!! I seriously could go on and on and on about this place but there are literally not enough words to express how incredible this place is.

The Wirth family and everyone at the ranch made our stay such a fantastic experience that it's hard to put it into words. Warm smiles, wonderful horses, gorgeous scenery, home cooking, and songs around the campfire. They even managed to get my husband (who didn't enjoy any previous horse experiences) on horseback - TWICE. The first time was because he promised me, the second time was because he enjoyed it so much.

Despite expressing these genuine concerns, the explanations provided felt very dismissive, and I was left with the impression that my observations about my pet's condition was not taken seriously. Adding to my disappointment was the unexpected bill for urgent care I received. I had asked for the soonest appointment availability, and after being told a same day slot had opened up after somebody had canceled their appointment, I proceeded with bringing my pet in. To my surprise, I was later charged with an urgent care fee, which was never discussed or agreed upon prior to the visit. This unexpected charge felt unfair, especially given the circumstances of how the appointment came to be. While I understand that veterinary practices can be busy, the lack of empathy and communication has led me to reconsider my choice of veterinary care. Unfortunately, I cannot confidently recommend their services to others.

I do not recommend this clinic for any overseas travel requirements. Vaccinations and wellness…read morechecks were fine and they offer a military discount which is always helpful. However, unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this clinic. There are quite a few requirements within established timelines of departures and arrivals in country with taking your pet overseas. I came here to get a health certificate and rabies vaccination done for my dog. The vaccination appt went well (hence the 1 star). However, they are not as knowledgeable on the requirements for health certificates. I paid for a pet shipping company to walk me through the process so that I don't miss anything. Otherwise, your pet would have to go through a four month quarantine process upon arrival (that I would have to pay for). While trying to relay what I needed and the govt timelines, I was rudely interrupted by the receptionist stating that is not the case. My appt was outside of the timeline window of departure and I was just requesting if we could work something out to change it. She refused, was very dismissive, stating they haven't had to do it like that before. However, I was trying to explain that my dog's requirements were different than someone flying with their dog vs a separate cargo plane. Again, very dismissive and I was cut off a number of times in the conversation. It was frustrating. To deescalate the conversation, I asked if the pet shipper company could call and explain to them. The company so graciously did and called me back and said that they were not accommodating to any change, and was told the next appt wouldn't be until after our departure. The pet shipper recommended I should go with another vet. So, I did. Thank God I did because it turned out that my dog needed two health certificates (one for the layover country and another for our destination. If I wasn't paying for the extra help in this process this would've been a horrible and costly experience for me. There are a lot of stressors when moving overseas the treatment of the vet clinic shouldn't be one of them.
