I decided to visit the Packie and loved it! I love sour beers and there was a whole fridge section for them. The owner was very helpful and friendly. He pointed out a beer I have never seen by a brewery that I love (white birch brewing- watermelon). I tried it today and it is amazing. It has a slight sour pucker but has plenty of watermelon taste; a perfect summer beer . One beer that I haven't tried yet but I'm excited to taste is the peach barrel wheat. Something else I enjoyed was that I could make my own six pack. There were so many beers that looked up my ally and I haven't tried yet. I'm happy I didn't have to fully commit to one beer and could try a bunch of different ones. Overall I had a really nice experience and definitely plan on going back! read more

After hearing positive things about this place from my friend I decided to check it out myself. First, I'll start by saying there is ample parking in a lot/easy in and out access - not something all businesses on S. Willow Street have and I really appreciate that! Second, upon entering the store I was warmly greeted by a gentleman who turned out to be the owner, Jon. He showed me around- which brings me to my third positive- the way the store is organized. Jon has the super local (NH) beer in a section, the rest of New England in a section, and so on. Very cool idea! He's got a wide selection of beer, cider, mead, gluten free and alcohol free beer, too! You can also make your own six pack! There is also a suggestion board where you can write our favorite beer if he doesn't have it and he will try his best to get it for you! I appreciate the personal touch of that in a business. The store also has selection of home brew products if you're into that. I left with a box full of beers to try and will absolutely be back for more! This is a great place if you are looking to try local craft beers from New Hampshire, New England, and a number of other places they have in stock. My brother-in-law and I came here before (and after) a wedding we were attending. Both times the service we received was excellent. I didn't catch the names of the guys we spoke with, but they know their beer. Plus, they don't look down on you for not knowing some of the more technical aspects of the brew process, which we've encountered at other places. Really glad we took the time to stop in. read more
