Oh yum. This place rocks. Awesome brews, great atmosphere and superb service. Even more. They are adjacent - actually share a small lobby - with 603 Barbecue and between the beer and the barbecue, this is serious eatin' and drinkin'. The server was absolutely amazing. She knows every brew on tap and canned. She knows how to pour. She knows the subtle flavors. A true connoisseur of the brewed delicacies. By 5:30 PM, there was a line to get brews. Because they're so good. I tried their Misguided Angel - One of the smoothest IPAs I've ever had, and the "In Your Head" stout, smooth and tasty. Popped in from the cold as the restaurant looked inviting. Personally, I am a fan of sour beers, which I found to be great! In addition to the beers, there was various barbecue options. The menu had your standards but the Texas Twinkie looked to be the most unique. If you want to try something different, the deep fried jalapeno with cheese and meat is worth trying! read more

Have never been disappointed with Lithermans beer and selection. Some minor changes in the tasting room since the new owners have taken over but still great beers. I wish the beer menu was still on the screens over the bar area rather than a tv, but that's minor. Can't go wrong with a visit when in the area. read more

If you live within reasonable driving distance of Lithermans/603bbq's Concord or Portsmouth 109 Congress St. (and by driving distance I mean about 2 hours) and you're not making a bee line for one of the locations you don't know what you're missing. Ben and his team of pit masters are producing some righteous BBQ! The brisket was off the hook!! Smokey and tender as can be. If you have the occasion to order the pork belly burnt ends, do not hesitate!! I promise you won't be disappointed!! These bites of meat candy are special!! What could be better than walking into a brew pub (or any business, I suppose) and finding out you get a free slice of pizza (from checkmate pizza, and very delicious)? The folks at Lithermans have done all they could to make this industrial park space feel homey. There's a weird running collage of shattered 45s and album covers. There's games and a foosball table. And best of all there's the lady beertender--if she's not already part owner they should give her a share. Oh yeah, the beer. Misguided Angels is one of the top beers I've had the last couple months. They do hazys well, and I'm not a big hazy fan (but this is New Englan.) And getting a 4 pack at half price doesn't hurt either. read more

Went to the Portsmouth location, great service from our waiter but the young hostess with glasses was completely rude when we asked for a patio seat. Walked away from us without saying anything then came back saying there was no seating even though there were completely open tables. To add the final cherry on top I got up to use the restroom while the hostess was also in there and rolled her eyes at me. We really only came here to have a nice lunch and left with an odd experience compared to previous times we've been here. Plus our food came out raw. read more

Like stepping into your dad's man cave of a basement. I must have very different taste buds compared to these other reviewers but there were only 2 beers I would drink here out of the 9. The other flavored ones all had a funky after taste, kind of cough syrupy. But the 2 I enjoyed was their blond ale which was one of the best I've had and the Depeach a'la mode. We ordered a pretzel and sausages and both were really good and came with a super spicy mustard. Would love a good cheese dip to go with them instead. They have plenty of seating inside and dogs are allowed. Outside there is corn hole and a couple of tables. read more

Don't bother going there if you have kids. I walked in on a slow Wednesday, and there were maybe four other people in the bar. I walked up to the bar to order a drink while feeding my baby (with a bottle, mind you). The bartender looked directly at me, then looked behind me to the people who had walked in after I did, and asked what they wanted to drink. Never gave me a second look. Hopefully not all patrons with kids have similar experiences. read more

Not the beers for me. We all got 4 sample flights but there wasn't a single beer I would buy again. Very sour tart beers. Also the aesthetic was very weird, music themed but also the tshirts were very little league style. Dogs were allowed inside and that was the only thing worth wild about this place. read more

We're here weekly. Big ABV beers in general, great people working, and always a nice crowd. Can't recommend enough if you're in the area.

I LOVED this place. My friends and I found Litherman's after looking at a list of the best breweries in New Hampshire and decided to make the trek. We were delighted to find a casual but hip atmosphere with great music, awesome decoration and, of course, great beer. They are (as of winter 2018) expanding so they only have 4 beers on tap. We were disappointed, but were delighted to find that each beer was delicious. Each of us got a flight of the four which consisted of a brown ale, a lager, an IPA and a belgian. Each of them was really good and I ended up purchasing a growler of 'Tangled Up In Bruges' for New Year's Eve, which was a big hit. If you are into local beer, I highly recommend Litherman's Limited! read more

This place is great! Went a couple of days ago to meet friends post-vaccinations and it was hopping on a Friday night. After waiting about 20 minutes, was able to snag a table outside. Only wish they had more outdoor seating! The woman who pours beers is super friendly and knowledgeable. I love sour beers and they have a couple RN on the rotating menu. One of them, "I Will Survive," is an ice tea lemonade sour beer and the proceeds benefit The NH Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, so a very good beer for a very good cause indeed. Really terrific beers at a reasonable price. Was also able to sample the pizzas at Tartaglia's pizza food truck parked there that evening. I'm from Brooklyn so a NYC pizza snob and I would definitely eat one again! The Meat Lovers was great! When I am next back in the Concord area, I will definitely plan to hit up Litherman's again! Great small brewery with a very good taproom, we visited on the recommendation of Hot Andy. We had tasters and then went for our favorites - Tangled Up In Bruges Saison and Simply Red Ale. All of the beers were consistently very good, worth seeking out. Great service and knowledgeable staff. We'll be back for another visit. read more
