We had 25 in our group, and Angelo did a good job of making everyone feel included, while picking up on little details within the group and bringing them up again later in funny ways. Paint the Town has an amazing team of people behind-the-scenes as well, they were able to answer any and all questions we had during the entire process and booking was very easy. I had no idea what to expect other than hoping for as great of an experience as the reviews I read…read more I was a little apprehensive about it being at someone's home instead of a restaurant or business, but it was probably even better I set this up for a work team bonding event. We ended up being only 5 minutes late, but Chef Titik was so welcoming. The only thing should have been a disclosure about having pets and potential allergies. She made us a welcome drink which was very tasty. She told us a little about herself and experience as a chef. We learned so much inclusive of knife sharpening techniques to how to properly cut fruits and vegetables, putting together seasoning, tips and tricks, and some facts about food. She even took photos of us and shared them. She made us feel like family at home having us over for dinner helping cook. It was such a memorable experience and so unique and perfect for my team. We all love food and travel so this is definitely one for the books. We all had a blast and would highly recommend.

Five Pines is a great place all year round.  In the summer they have camps (which I went to as a…read moreyoung lad) with an abundance of activities including swimming, a rock climbing wall, and a ropes course.  The middle school I went to even took us out here back in the day as a field trip.  My church would take the middle and high schoolers out here in the fall for hay rides which is always a fun treat. As for the winter, they offer tubing and other winter activities on a large hill on property.  They also sell warm beverages during this time to warm up between activities.  Five Pines is simply a great outdoor place with numberous fun things to do.  Let the adventuring begin! I don't know a lot of people that have done this first hand, but now that I've tried it, I see the appeal of it being a sport that I enjoy watching and participating in. There are three lanes to play on, and the staff are friendly ambassadors of the sport. If you've never played, you are made to watch a short instructional video. You'll also need to sign a waiver before participating. There's a learning curve to curling, but once you're on the ice, it's fun. The instructors do a great job of teaching you the lingo, the skills, and get you started with relative ease. For those that are not as flexible or have knee issues, they have sticks to help push the rocks. Everything is provided by the club to play so just bring some comfortable clothes and a light jacket. I don't know of any other curling places so scratch that itch and see what it's all about!
