Paul exceeded expectations in every way imaginable. Meetings were flexible and very thorough. He always responded very promptly to any inquiries. Honestly, he helped keep me on track with all of the planning besides his own responsibilities. He made sure I had everything else lined up as well, which was really appreciated. Not only did he keep the music going all night but he also did tons of background work to make sure everything ran smoothly. He coordinated with the photographer and caterer to make the entire event run seamlessly. We had to swap out decorations in between the ceremony and receptions because it was held at the same venue and he even helped with that! I don't have a single bad thing to say about the service. He was worth every penny. All of his equipment is very high quality and most if it is wireless, which affords him a lot of flexibility to equipment location. He is very familiar with all of the equipment. Not once was there any feedback from any of the microphones or complaints about the sound being too soft or loud. The music always flowed well from one song into the next, which kept the dance floor full and active. That is not just my opinion. He was also complemented by several guests across all aspects of his work, lighting, music, coordination and general helpfulness. If I have missed something, it is safe to say that he also did that exceedingly well too. My only regret is not getting these reviews done sooner. He really does deserve it! read more

We used 219 Productions for our wedding photo booth and they were so much fun and so easy to work with - a huge help since we were planning our wedding from across the country! Paul was very patient and flexible, and answered all of our questions quickly. I contacted 219 Productions on November 5 to discuss booking Paul as our DJ for our October 2016 wedding. Paul called me immediately and we set up an appointment on November 9. Paul even sent me a text confirming our appointment. About 15 minutes into our appointment he informs us he met with another couple who wants to book him on our wedding date. He proceeds by saying he met with the couple prior to me contacting him and he had ALREADY sent them a contract. He texted the couple while we were in the office and told them he didn't want us to waste our time and the couple informed him that they really wanted to book him but understood if he had to book us being that 2 weeks had pasted before they sent in their contact and deposit. Paul continued his interviewing us, we went over the lighting, photo booth rental, and spent over 30 minutes discussing music. At the end of our hour meeting my fiancés asked him how do we proceed in booking him and he says "I'm already booked for your wedding day as a DJ but I can rent you the photo booth and do your lighting. We stood there in shock as he had us waste an HOUR of our time without telling us he was giving the other couple a few more days to get in their contract. He specifically waited until the end because he was trying to sell us more of his services. When we left he said "If I don't have the other couples money in hand by Thursday morning I will be available." He was very unprofessional and we ended up meeting with an even better DJ the following day and booked him. Paul texted me Thursday evening to let us know the other couple decided to mail their check today. (Paul initially said if he didn't have it in hand on Thursday morning he would book us) I replied to his text to explain how unprofessional it was to have us waste our time and drive 30 minutes away when he was already booked. He didn't even apologize! I am very happy we did not book him because who knows what type of stunt he would have pulled on our wedding day. Best DJ company in Northwest Indiana! Would definitely recommend 219 Productions! We hired them to do our wedding and they were amazing! They offer a variety of other things besides the music... Uplighting, photo booths, drapery... etc. We went with the uplighting and it made our reception hall look even more beautiful! It really adds a nice touch! We worked with Paul throughout our whole wedding process and he is so detailed, full of ideas and has a real passion for making your special day as amazing as it can be! He was really almost like our wedding planner, he coordinates with all involved the day of and makes sure things go as smoothly as possible. Paul met with us a handful of times to make sure we are all on the same page with everything. It was really nice to have a DJ so involved. He and his assistant, the day of the wedding, made sure to amp everything up, get people moving and dancing. Always making sure that there was fun happening!
