Just walking into the daycare you can tell it's filled with tons of activities and fun for the children, and felt very homey! Within the first week, there was a huge difference in my toddler's behavior (in a positive way) she was so happy! Noreen, the front staff, and all the teachers in the infant and twaddler classes were so friendly and loving with our girls and made it such a safe and fun environment which of course is all a parent really wants when leaving your children with someone else. It's not a 'one size fits all' place where they merely babysit; staff and caregivers get to know each child and provide the appropriate care based on his/her needs. But more than that, I made lifelong friends with my fellow athletes and my coaches. Even on days they do not attend they ask if they can go. They are not only learning their letters, numbers, reading, etc. but learning so much about Jesus. They know Bible stories, worship songs, and have memorized scripture. The teachers and directors truly care about each and every child at the school. It is not a corporate owned school so it has a very warm, loving, Christian atmosphere. They do lots of special events for the children like the petting zoo, nature days, snow cones, mini-train rides, etc. Their motto is "excellence in Chrisitan education" and it is 100% true. I love that it truly is a preschool- not a daycare- they are learning all day not being babysat. I highly recommend this school and just cannot say enough about it. I am aware of the sister school being sold in Southlake (menioned in another review) - however, my understanding is that the curriculum, philosophy and teachers and staff all remained the same. It is also my understanding that the Southlake location was sold because the owner's husband was extremely ill and in ICU last winter and she simply couldn't manage both campus alone.
