This business rented us a golf cart for 24 hours. They were all cordial, professional, very welcoming. We've been coming to Bolivar for years, since before Ike, and these are some of the most pleasant people we've ever met. We dealt with 3 different person's accociated with Palopa, each of them was charming, personable, and made you feel like you had made a new personal acquaintance or friend. We will be checking out the rest of the things they offer because THIS is a business and people we want to have in our lives. read more

This resort was well kept, easy in and easy out. We were there for the crazy Jeep weekend and definitely enjoyed our stay here. They have a pool, laundry area and community are that was clean and most items were on the honor system! Would definitely stay here again! read more

I have a family of 5 with two 13 year old girls and a 7 year old girl. We pulled our 34' camper across the ferry and to Bolivar RV Resort and had an absolute blast! The pool on the second floor deck of the common beach house is great for every and the beach feels private and safe. The kids loved playing on the beach while we looked for cool shells and drift wood. The facility is super clean and well maintained. There is a really neat fire pit in the back for camp fires or grilling. There are also two pits to grill on and my daughter said I cooked the best steak she has ever tasted on it. The entire facility is cemented with no cracks and the RV slots are level. The management was incredibly friendly and did whatever they could to help entertain our kids. The other campers were friendly and outgoing. Everyone there was pet friendly to our two dogs as well. The common beach house has amazing showers and bathrooms as long as an incredible entertainment room and two Samsung washers and two Samsung dryers that we used while the kids swam. I can't say enough good things about the people and facility. It's the perfect beach get away! read more

Very clean accommodations. No grills outside/ fire pits near the RV pads to use. Price was little high at $75 per night. Clubhouse was spotless with really nice showers / bathrooms available for use. Nice clean swimming pool with a deck to hang out on when you need a break from the beach. Laundry room available for $5 for washer and dryer combined. We would stay here again if in Boliver. read more

Nice place, awful owner. Have stayed twice. The first time they messed up our booking. The second time they messed up our booking. We rented a golf cart for the weekend for $250. It did not work. We were loaned the owners golf cart because the other also did not work, and then she demanded it back after accusing us of misusing it. We left there after that rather than face this awful person. When we left we were charged our full stay and for the full cost of the golf cart for the weekend. That was after the owner entered our card details incorrectly and accused us of having our card declined. We found the owners attitude just terrible. Good luck anyone who stays there. There are plenty of other places to RV in Bolivar and we would suggest you consider them first. Such a shame, it could be an excellent place if they simply had a nice attitude (and golf carts that worked). read more

We love this Park. They keep the park super clean and they enforce their rules. One thing we noticed about most of the parks in this area is that they look run down and not kept up well at all. I have read a few reviews about this park saying that they have to many rules. Well the reason its the nicest park in the area is because they enforce their rules. This helps keep the place nice. They have a great pool that is located about 20ft up in the air and you can see the ocean from the pool deck. The club house is very nice and so are the bathrooms. They have showers in the bathrooms and a outdoor shower by the pool. They also have washer and dryer's in the club house. This park has everything you can want. It is a very short walk from the beach but the path is paved concrete. You can bring your own golf cart or 4 wheelers or side by side to ride on the beach. The park is very well lite at night time also. One more added bonus is that it is located just far enough away from town that the beaches are not nearly as crowded. read more

If you look on their web site it states that the Clubhouse is "Coming Soon - Funding permitting, construction of the Bolivar RV Resort Clubhouse will Winter / Spring 2015." Sometimes this takes a little longer than what can be expected. It is a great place for a great price and they always keep it well maintain and everyone is great and I didn't have any problems hooking up to their WiFi. I also I like the concrete slabs to park my rig on instead of dirt or grass. Top of the line place and I will defiantly go back and I would defiantly recommend this to others. read more

This is a very classy place to stay. It's also offers a quiet area of the beach. If you you looking for an RV park, this is it!

The only thing that makes this a "resort" is that it's on the beach. Well....almost on the beach. No place to hang a clothes line? (At the beach? How was that missed?) No picnic tables. No showers or bathrooms. The sites are right up on top of each other. Wifi didn't work (tho the owner gave us the password for his private access...after saying our SIX different devices had problems and it certainly wasn't a problem on HIS side) I really wanted to like this place. The sites are concrete. It does offer both 30 and 50 amp and has sewer at each site. It also has an extra water spigot to rinse the sand off (tho it's right in your campsite and you walk in the water/mud after using it). If you have a big camper and a big dually to pull it, there's no place to park without hanging out in the road. The website says there's a game room in construction but no signs of any new building? This place has great potential but falls very short. We will definitely try somewhere else next time. read more

We paid for two nights in May 2017 and stayed only for one. Ants and mosquitoes plus other insects were a serious problem. Also, there is NO cable/satellite TV hook-up much less a table or fire/barbeque ring/pit at each site. The pool is small and only 4 foot deep with dirty water. There is a playground for young kids and park is kept clear of trash and grass mowed. The high price per night and the value offered does not match. read more

We love it there. We have been there for a year and a half. All cement pads for RV's and parking. Firepit, Play ground for the kids totally fenced in. New club house and pool to open by June 2016.. The owner are great and have been so good to all of us. This RV park is only 2 years old and all the palm trees have lights on them, making it so pretty at night. Also they have built a bridge over the sand dunes so you can walk over or drive your golf cart over to the beach. read more

We called a week in advance to reserve a spot for our RV. I believe I talked to Anne who was pretty nice. It seemed like they had it together. I told her that we would be arriving at around 9pm because we lived about 4 hours away. She said she really doesn't like people showing up that late because she has to help people back in...I explained I didn't need help and we would be fine. I made the reservation and after we got off the phone I called back about 15 minutes later to ask some questions...they didn't return my call until that Wednesday 3 days later. I called them on the Friday that we were leaving and asked what spot we were in, if there was a gate access code....you know, just general questions that people need to know that she had failed to give me. She said we were in spot A-6, "the sixth spot down on your left". Ok, great! We arrive at 9:10pm and there is someone in the spot we were supposed to be in. I call the office and they are closed so I leave a voicemail. I talk to my wife and try to figure out what to do. I decide to call the office back again hoping that someone answers....no answer. They call right back and it's Anne and she rudely says I've missed a bunch of calls from this number. I explain the situation and she asks me to ask the people in our spot if they had reservations...they were very nice and said they had reserved 5,6, and 7. I immediately knew that the resort screwed up. While Anne is looking through her schedule/reservations or whatever, she has the nerve to make the comment "this is why I don't like people showing up at 9 o'clock." Sorry Sweetheart!!!! IT's not people showing up at 9 o'clock that's the problem....it's you and the reservation system that you use. At this point I was on the phone for about 15 minutes and it's obvious that there isn't a place for us so my wife calls her Aunt and Uncle and we stay at their place. Not sure what would have happened if we didn't have family to count on....because you sure can't count on this place!!!!! I will not be going back there! The sites are really small and close together and no fire rings. Poorly managed place! Oh yea....they did offer us free use of the pool!!!!!!! YIPPPEEEEE!!! We didn't go back to that place! read more
