A salesman was not available so I talked to another individual. He took down all of the information and put my name on a remnant slab. I waited a week and no call. I stopped by again and the receptionist took down my name and said a salesman would get back with me. No call. I call again and get transferred to the salesman who says he never got either of the messages. He takes down my information and says he'll get me a quote and look at the slab because I'm not sure what I picked and I'm not choosy because this is for the laundry room. He also schedules me for July. A month goes by and I still have not received the quote and the schedule date is in about 2 weeks. I leave a message on his cell phone and finally get the quote for $1,000 for a small remnant slab installed in the laundry room. I call to discuss the quote and end up leaving another message. No call back. The receptionist calls to verify the appointment for template. I explain to her the situation and that I am not happy. She says "so do you want me to take you off of the schedule?" Hah! I wasted 2 months screwing around with Silver City. If this is how they treat a repeat customer, I fear for new customers. Maybe my job just wasn't big enough to get any attention.

Joe used denatured alcohol…read moreon the piece of granite that was yellowed again by Greg's repair and the denatured alcohol revealed a scratched area on the black granite that Joe told us was probably due to the installers banging it against the truck hauling it into our house. I will attach a photo. I also attached a copy of our paid granite invoice to prove I'm not making this up! The female designer's name who came out to our house with your husband, Kelly(he didn't put our cabinets in as we hired someone else and your granite installers were very impressed on how perfectly level they were)was Deanna. She did a great job for us and was nice and always pleasant when we met and talked to her on the phone. Then we left her several messages and no one at Silver City picked up her messages to let us know she wasn't there any longer.

My husband and I pulled up to this place in the middle of the day. There was a sign on the door…read morethat said they'd be back in 15 minutes. We waited over 30 minutes in the parking lot. When they got out of the car, there were two of them, which says to me that they could have kept the shop open while one ran whatever errand. But hey, it's not like it's my business. They were strangely amused by the fact that we were reclined in the seats waiting for them to return, even made a joke about how we were sleeping in the car. I don't think that's funny personally. I think it was poor customer service on their part. When we did get to walk in to the place finally, the man had already made a beeline for the back where we couldn't talk to him and the woman couldn't answer any of our questions, so she just sat there at the front desk hollering his name until he came back up front. At this point, I was ready to leave. However, we stuck around to attempt to get a quote. We tried to tell the guy what we were looking for, but he kept interrupting us to tell us how his store was so much better than Lowe's or Home Depot. I'm not so sure about that, no one closed the store at either of those places in the middle of the day. Then we wanted a cabinet to match what we already had in that area of our house. He proceeded to tell us that our stuff was plyboard junk. I left. If you want to spend your afternoon being insulted and talking to someone who thinks they are much better than you, I really would recommend this place. If you want to be treated as a valued customer with some respect, then I'd steer clear and find another cabinet shop in Helena.

We installed a new stove (an in-counter insert) in our fairly large kitchen and had to have our 20…read moreyear old Corian countertops repaired (pieces of Corian added) to match the new stove insert opening. We also wanted our countertops resurfaced. COVID-19 slowed everything down but that was to be expected. C&B did great work on both jobs. We had received several bids and found that while C&B was not the cheapest bid (by just a few dollars) they clearly understood what was needed from the start and was more than financially competitive. We wanted great craftsmanship more than the rock bottom cheapest price and C&B certainly provided that! Clean up was exceptional and cost was exactly was the bid was. Recommend Bill Shull and C&B highly!

I receive a call that basically without a commitment there to busy to put time into it. (which they are only open part-time hours) They expect a commitment and put a deposit down without numbers or even a pitch of why they are so good. No wonder he said he isn't quoting if we are bidding because he lost to many deals. Thats the nature of the business buddy! Need some selling skills for your customer expectations!

Initial communication was excellent and the crew was friendly. However, after rough framing was…read morepartially complete I noted several issues (out of square/plumb framing, improper hanger, some materials and spacings not to plan, loose blocking, toe nailing issues, missed fasteners, etc.). Instead of correcting the issues I was given the run-around then communication ceased. We had to spend the next few weeks correcting the framing errors, stud spacings, and ripped out the improper subfloor section and also had to pay another framer to correct a portion of their work. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. Initial conversations led us to believe MHIP was excited to take on the work and would provide high-level craftsmanship. After voicing our concerns, it seems they decided it was more worth their time to move on to bigger and better things rather than correct their errors.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!…read more We seriously question the honesty and integrity of Ron Cullen. He came out to take measurements and draw up some options for a kitchen remodel. He did one drawing of the existing floor plan and three simple drawings of other options and charged us for 4 hours of work. We took measurements, used a drafting program, and drew up 10 possible layouts in less than half that amount of time. When we called and asked for him to detail the work required for the time on the invoice, he was very vague and said he had drawn up other plans that he hadn't sent and that he was actually cutting us a deal by not charging us more. And what's more, his drawings did not even take into consideration what we had said we wanted so they are entirely worthless to us anyway. Such a waste of money and an extremely frustrating experience.

We've now tried a couple of different oils and vinegars from this terrific little shop--all were…read moredelicious. When I stopped in recently they were offering samples of scones, tea, and tiny portions of french toast. Super friendly staff, delicious products. I know the location is a bit odd, don't let it scare you! This place is top notch.
