I ordered 2 mountain belts, one is the russet color and one in the dark brown color. When I received them, I felt that the color difference between the 2 wasn't drastic enough to be a different color. After having an instant message conversation with them on their website, it was patiently explained to me how sometimes that leather doesn't take much dye and can be similar in color. After that conversation, I felt very satisfied with my purchase. To my surprise, the Gentleman at Craft and Lore overnighted me a Port Wallet as a wonderful gesture of customer service. Hands down the mountain belts I ordered are the best I have ever had. And the Port Wallet is awesome. Thank you for making great products and treating your customers even better. Get a load of this. I paid this establishment good US dollars to put a new sole on my wedge work…read moreboots. They said they would call me when the repair guy got in, as the repair and the boot store are separate. A month passed in silence, and I finally called just to see if any progress had been made. They informed me that they were just about to get started on them. As I was not born yesterday I presume that they had yet to look at them, that or the repair guy was taking some pretty serious time off. But all that's neither here nor there. Because don't worry, its about get worse. After the repair guy was back from what I can only presume was the cobbler convention, he did actually get around to working on them. I picked them up and the sole came off the second time of wearing. Just separated as I took them off. Never even wore them to work and the repair broke. But the real kicker is that when I brought them back in to get more than a ruined pair of boots for 150 dollars, the guy was immediately upset that I would think it was a botched repair job. He raised his voice with a healthy portion of defensive insecurity and informed me that it was just the glues fault, as it was clearly not the store's. He also took the opportunity to educate me further, explaining that I should really be more careful when taking work boots off so they don't break. Work boots, he was kind enough to explain, (and not that many people know this) are supposed to withstand all the abuse of a day at work on a construction site, but are actually not designed for kicking them off at the end of the day, as that is what will really do them in.... But I'm not the expert here, which he was sure to keep reminding me.

Aisles are narrow and cluttered, in fact, some of them are impassable! Clearly fire hazard! This is not a first time occurrence and has been this way every time I come here to shop. This will probably be my last time shopping here because it's not worth the hassle or time to find things. They need to bring in a crew that will organize and put items in their proper department and according to size, etc. then train their employees how to restock and put things back in the proper place and not just shove items on a shelf or rack. Their sales might go up if people could find what they are looking for! This store is clearly mismanaged!
