Like a lot of chains, you'll get pretty much the same experience for each one you visit but here I've found some pretty good novelty sport stuff, which reminds me that although it is usually the same across most stores with inventory you never know, so drop in to see what's in stock. This particular Five Below is located in a strip mall with a bunch of Home Décor stores like Harmon, Michaels, Dollar Tree and a couple others. There are even a couple of spots to eat within so just short of a supermarket it can be one of a few stops.

I feel that they have a nice selection and their prices used to be very reasonable. I opened a credit card with them because they send out a lot of coupons. But my recent experience with them was really horrible. I decided on December 7, and then I wanted to order one of the Grinch 6 foot Christmas trees. I wanted to surprise my boyfriend because I tell him he's always crabby and call him the Grinch lol they assured me it would be here between December 12 the latest the 14th. Well, the 12th came and went same for the 13th and 14th, so I reached out to them and I was told that my order was shipped, but apparently they didn't know where it was. It was put somewhere in the warehouse and nobody knew where it was and no one reached out to me I had to bombard them with emails and social media posts and then suddenly I just get an email saying I'll have it by this Saturday. Sorry, but that's kind of unacceptable that's only five days before Christmas what's the point? I really do try not to complain about petty things, but I just lost my mom in May and I'm having a hard time with the holidays as it is and it just really let me down that I try to do something that would make myself and my love smile, and this company just didn't even care about my order, but the funny part was they actually did ship me all the ornaments, but not the tree. Does that make any sense? As for the store itself, I do think the employees there are nice. I've never had an issue with them. The woman that helped me there the other day when I was trying to figure this out was wonderful. I should've gotten her name. She's a blonde woman middle-aged if there's a manager reading this, she was great, but I don't like about the store. Is it almost as a warehouse feel and the selection is pretty blah. Unless you make jewelry, they do have amazing choices for that. I don't mean to rant I know it's Christmas, but I really was looking forward to having this tree to surprise him. I guess at the end of the day I should just be grateful that I have a home and a Christmas tree on the way. We do already have one up, but I just wanted this extra one.

It does have other items for sale though, such as books and some specialty items. In fact, I'm not sure if I'd describe it as a toy store with books or a book store with toys. If you're bringing your children, they will be loading up their cart, so be careful. It's very easy to spend a lot of money here very quickly. The day we took our granddaughter they were featuring items made by Schleich. Their big attraction Memorial Day weekend was a small scale, yet still large by kid standards, motorized T-Rex. I've been to many a Homegoods in my time, and let me tell you -- they are not all created equal. This is by far and away the best location that I've seen. The store is absolutely huge and the selection is unparalleled. There is a big section with real furniture, and you can walk away with anything from a couch to a dining set. And then there are aisles and aisles of goods... for the home. Anything and everything imaginable. Yes this is what every HG offers, but here it just feels... *different*. For the holidays they have at least three aisles filled with holiday wrapping, gift boxes, gift tags, holiday entertaining goods and more. There are also several aisles of speciality food items, so this is a great spot if you are looking for a fun food related gift... everything from truffle oils to fancy coffee. Yay for Homegoods!
