They do great entertainment for the children. I recommend them! The kids, parents, and teachers are all class individuals.

We want our children to be bilingual and we're thrilled that both have entered a dual language english/Spanish program. We also love that fact that this is an IB school that focuses on 21st century skills. Last but not least, the school hired a COVID consultant and reorganized the entire school in order to be able to have children on premises and meet social distancing standards. Although they do have a remote option, this thankful parent is thrilled to drop the kids off at real school every morning.

We visited a number of schools and sought the the advice of countless friends and family before finally being introduced to Pine Street school. We attended an informational social which gave us the opportunity to meet faculty, parents, students, and learn more about the IB program and curriculum - we were blown away by the enthusiasm of the teachers, the global exposure the students had, and the close knit community we encountered there. But it was our children's response that really informed our decision to apply as they were eager to spend more time with everyone they met that evening and excited to learn more about the school. Fast forward to today and we couldn't be happier with the decision that we made. Pine Street School truly supports the whole child: the curriculum is rigorous and engaging, and we visibly see how they are preparing our children to go out and make a difference in the world. Students go on more field trips than any other school I've encountered - they really make sure that they have an opportunity to go out and experience the world. It is apparent that the thoughtful approach to learning supports the development of our children intellectually, emotionally, and socially and we couldn't be more pleased. And they continue to impress us and exceed our expectations, especially during this unprecedented time where our children need more love, support and consistency than ever; they are the only school that I know of that offers 4.5 hours of synchronous learning each day while school is physically closed due to social distancing! Incredible! They have managed to maintain the academic standards and preparation that we've become accustomed to during this challenging time: it doesn't get more committed than that. I could go on forever but will stop by thanking Pine for continuing to reaffirm why we made the best decision possible by enrolling both of our children. Thank you!

This school is literally located 1 block away from Wall Street, and I had to do a double take upon entrance as I thought I was setting foot in an administrative building of the Holy Roman Empire. Also I don't really get this whole joke-of-the-moment about how often guys think of the Roman Empire. Can someone explain that to me? We SHOULD think about the Ancient Roman Empire. It was only the most significant and impactful civilization in all of our species' history. The Roman Empire is only where we derive our language and legal system from. Anyways, I'm getting carried away here, sorry: Okay but how could I mention the Roman Empire without mentioning Marcus Aurelius? One of the coolest, most self aware dudes in all of human history. He stayed grounded and didn't abuse his power as the Roman F**kin Emperor. I will concede that his son SUCKED though. What a d-bag. Sorry I seriously think I have an undiagnosed case of gnarly ADHD. I entered the Roman Pantheon, and asked the guy at the front desk where the gym was. He said "9th floor." I was like "I mean the basketball gym." He repeated unenthusiastically, "9th floor." GYM ON THE 9TH FLOOR IS A CRAZY FLEX! The gym was sick and while I do my best to be humble, my dear reader, I played one of the best games of my LIFE in here. I was CHOPPIN! First play of the game I took 2 HARD pound dribbles to the rack, hard stop snatch-back between my legs to a step back three and dropped this dude so bad he was doing the chicken dance on the way down trying to get his footing. I bricked the 3 though smh. I could never and would never lie to you. You ever just feel like Kyrie somedays,? I always say if I was 6 '10 I would be chasing my 6th ring rn, but God knew better than to bless me with that height. He did bless me with a lot though to be fair. I wake up grateful every day. I'm still waiting for the official stats to come in but I will update you when they do, because I know you so care. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

Children are educated in traditional subjects but also on how to improve their learning techniques. My child not only learns the subject matter but how to incorporate it into an applied knowledge of the world. There is also a huge sense of community involving everyone: parents, students, and faculty to become part of the Corlears community. It's impossible for us as parents to not actively engage and become part of the learning experience for our children. My youngest will be starting at Corlears next year. Many activities involve the entire school at different skill sets. Older children become mentors and the example for younger children. Children work independently in addition to learning how to function as part of a team. Teachers build report cards that transcend a letter grade. My child's final report card was 28 individualized pages of in depth information about strengths and weaknesses for all subjects. Now in the off months we work on weaknesses and improve with our goals of maximizing our child's potential for a better life.
