We enjoy sitting by the pool with the kids on weekends and they also have childcare in the evenings. They also have a lovely covered patio where you may dine and watch the golfers. Towards the end of our membership, we decided to leave and look for a private country club where golf was the priority. We went to Lost City Country Club played a round of golf, had lunch and we were sold. We met Mike Dolan and he took really good care of everything for us, a true professional. The three nines were all redesigned by Tom Fazio II, the layouts are beautiful, and the greens are lightning fast. The three nines have their own personalities, personally I prefer the East course because there's a lot of water. There will be other improvements coming soon, yardage signs at the range, more lights in the parking lot, cart path from the North course to the East course, new ball washers... We had lunch and dinner more than a few times and the food was excellent, and very affordable, our servers Jonathan, Gabby and Suzy Q were efficient and professional. The members are very friendly, a lot of them came and introduced themselves to us in the dining room, knowing that we were new members. It's like a big family!! We met Mihai Ripanu and Evans of the food and beverage department and they told us that if we needed anything to ask them. There is also Ed the starter, Peter, Scotty and Nolan at the cart building that take great care of us when we set foot on the premises. I haven't met the pro Mason and the GM mister McMahon yet but I will surely meet them soon!! The event begins with check in from 7am where you'll sign a waiver and proceed to the adjacent tables to grab goody bags, golf shirts, hand rolled cigars and an umbrella which is a bad omen to hand out at a golf event, lol. Once you're checked in you're free to grab a hearty breakfast inside the clubhouse lounge. All your hot breakfast items plus fresh juice, coffee and everything for a hearty feast. Once you've filled your belly, head back outside to hit balls on the driving range or use one of the chip or putting facilities to sharpen your skills before hitting the links. This beautifully landscaped course will challenge golfers of any skill set. There's undulations along the way, plenty of water to manage your way around and lots of other obstacles to test your skills. Afterwards we were treated to lunch and a silent auction to help raise some more $ for a great cause. This is a great course and the MDA hosts a great event if you ever get the opportunity to attend and play.
