We arrived at the Parking Spot at Bradley airport at 11:30pm after flying all day and did not get our car until 3:30am!! The place was packed with people that waited up to 5 hours for their cars! Families with babies, elderly people and disabled people not to mention the rest of us. Total chaos with no satisfactory reason why. I am a regular flyer and use them at least 5 times a year, I will be moving my business. read more

First time using this company. Was procrastinating using a cheaper company further away but with AAA discount this lot comes down to $7.50 day including taxes . That's pretty good consider it's only a few mins from the airport . When I arrived, I wasnt sure how to use my phone app reservation to have it scanned. Chris M was the shuttle bus driver and was at the gate. He was quick to come over and assisted me . I want to commentate him becoz he took the effort to stop at every car coming into the lot and telling them to proceed to nearly end of lot to prevent drivers going in circles looking for a spot. TRAPPED in BDL To The Attention of Management - After arriving at the airport hours late on a rough flight we found the TPS driver easily at baggage claims and were looking forward to getting home just in time to catch the last hour a friend's 70th birthday party. We found our car quickly and had the QR code ready for an easy exit. Then we got to the exit, to find a customer unable to drive through the closed gate; she was unable to get her QR code to open the exit gate. We swapped places and tried ours - the screen said ERROR and the gate stayed down. We called the office. We spoke to both drivers on duty. We explained we needed to leave. We were prepaid and tired from our trip, just wanted to get on the road home. The office said to wait, it was a computer re-boot issue. The gate stayed closed. After 20 minutes we called again and she said the "internet was down and there was nothing she could do to open the gate" "please wait" "tech coming". We waited. We tried the QR code several times. After 40 minutes I considered other ways to escape the lot. We were tired and pissed. I considered following one of the vans through - their gate was auto-opening for them. Too tight to do it safely. We waited. Over a dozen cars collected behind us, honking & inpatient. When it was suggested by the growing crowd that that might be the best solution, I finally talked to a TPS driver and said I would call 911 soon - there had to be a way to raise the gate. I needed to go. The police might help. As a last ditch effort to avoid including the police I tried to lift the gate manually. After well over 45 minutes of waiting to exit with our pre-paid receipt, and with the help of others we lifted to gate and held it UP so we could exit - and we did. I have no idea who followed us but we were finally free of your enclosure. We lost an hour more-or-less because your gate system has no backup, and no employee on the grounds had the ability to bypass the software issues OR lift the gate manually. We wondered what would happen in the event of an Emergency. I, as a type1 diabetic, was concerned about our plans, my ability to get food and medicine. And needless to say we missed a dear friend's party. You may wish to consider your potential liability if someone on the lot cannot let paid customers exit with reasonable speed. Hopefully this is read by someone concerned with providing a decent service for your customer. read more

I used their valet service to park my car, and when I got home I realized there was some minor damage to the rear of the car. I contacted them. At first they did not deny that the damage was done at their facility, and asked me to send pictures. Then they said that because I drove away without noticing the damage it was on me. When I protested, they then said that I was lying and the car came in damaged (it did not), even producing photos of my car entering the facility that purported to show damage (they did not). I have used this parking location at BDL since it was owned by a different company. The new company is a very similar system. You can make an online reservation through the app or walk into the kiosk. Discounts offered for AAA. Cars can be parked covered or uncovered (additional charges apply of course). You can even add additional services, like having the car washed and detailed. My favorite part is when you land from a warm area, your car is cleared off of any snow and waiting already warmed up! There is a shuttle that is constantly moving to and from the airport so minimal lag time as well. Staff is friendly. My only critique, and this was actually the first time I had it happen, was when I arrived there were no attendants outside to begin the check-in process. I had an online reservation but the women in the kiosk sent me back outside to meet an attendant who then wrote down my license plate, handed me a retrieval ticket and sent me back inside to the kiosk. This seems like something that could be circumvented with the online app and QR code. Otherwise, this is a super affordable parking option at the airport, and I will continue to park here. I used the valet parking since it was supposed to snow while I was gone. They seem to have no idea what they are doing. It was a mess dropping off the car, cars backed up into the road. When picking up the car, we had to wait an HOUR AND A HALF for them to find our car. We were not the only ones who waited over an hour. We were the last ones out at 1:45 am. I sent them what they requested. They have done nothing. Used The Parking Spot for the first time because the Bradley lots were full and it was the closest to the airport. Big mistake. Came in on a Sunday night at a little after 11. There were about 30 people waiting for the valets to bring their cars. Guy in front of me at the register had been waiting for over 30 minutes. They were ridiculously understaffed. The employees there were very stressed but did not take it out on the customers. They were professional; their employer is incompetent. I used LAZ and its predecessors for years and while it has gone downhill, I never experienced anything like we did with Parking Spot. read more

I'm sure they're understaffed, but it was a mess getting everyone from the airport to the parking facility when we arrived late on a Monday winter night. There weren't enough vans available to transport from the airport to the facility, and the disorganization and lack of a line left customers angry at each other and fighting for spots on the shuttle--especially given the cold temperatures. I first parked here because of a perk associated with my credit card and found the experience to be great overall. Using the app to make a reservation and scan in/out of the lot via QR code was simple and convenient. I made my second reservation for this past weekend. My return flight was delayed 7+ hours and I was relieved to see The Parking Spot shuttle waiting when I walked out of the BDL terminal exhausted at 2:45AM. It was snowing and the driver not only carried my bag off the van but brushed off my entire car, allowing me to get on the road quickly. read more

Unfortunately, TPS at BDL has gone down hill since taking over. It used to be as good as Roncari but they can't handle the volume taken on. The low point was this past Sunday night. There were 56 people waiting for a shuttle back to their cars. Shuttle vans took forever and as soon as one was filled, more people came. Had to wait for 5 vans before boarding and this was after forcing my way onto van. People were frustrated and arguing. Their (TPS) response was they can only have 1 an at a time on BDL grounds. LAZ had multiple vans there and people were begging their drivers to take them to TPS. I always give leeway and understand one off situations but this has gotten much worse over time. I have been using this company since the OG Roncari days and never had any issues. I booked a reservation for what was to be 2 nights parking and the system somehow scheduled it for an entire month. I pre-paid because it is cheaper. When so returned and looked at my receipt and noticed I was charged for an entire month I called the company and was told no refunds for pre paid. What a racket system glitches to steal your money and refuse to help you. The woman I spoke to on the phone was rude and unprofessional. So do not prepay for your parking or you will lose a lot of money like me. read more

I parked my car at the Parking Spot while I went on vacation. Due to flight cancellations and bad weather, I was unable to get to my vacation destination. I ended up coming home early. I was already distraught about missing my vacation when I asked them for partial refund. They said no!!!! You would think that they would have some compassion and provide quality customer service. They did not. I will never park there again and will share my bad experience with others I would like to pull my poor review. Parking spot is very convenient as it's right across street from airport. shuttle service is good but really need some kind of queuing system for pick-up outside baggage claim. people who have been waiting don't always get on fist bus as some walk out doors and go right onto bus. for the first time I ordered the #5, a detailed cleaning of my car. other than the confidence it is definitely not worth the money. it looked like they did a quick once over of car but clearly didn't clean everything thoroughly. read more

They charge about 7 $ a day if you made a reservation but no one said they would charge about 24 a day with no reservation . What a screw job 225$ for 7 days . I have been parking at The Parking Spot exclusively when flying out of BDL since they took over from Roncari parking several years ago. Last week, I parked for 4 days - April 9-12 - and was shocked by a charge of over $128, $32 per day for uncovered valet. For comparison, the prior week I paid around $48 for 3 days - April 1-3 - $16 per day for uncovered valet at this same Parking Spot, which is typical of the rate I'm charged for airport parking. I went to make a reservation for this coming week - April 15-17 - and was quoted the rate of $31.50 per day. I called the BDL location to inquire if this rate was correct. I was told the higher rate was because of spring break/April vacation. Wait. The Parking Spot admitted to price gouging? I must reconsider whether I want to consider giving my business to a company that admits to taking advantage of loyal customers. Shame on you, The Parking Spot! read more

Paid 200.89 dollars for a wash and wax while out of town on business, was told they would take care of the sap on my vehicle exterior(it was a lot of sap, felt worth the price for the convenience at the time), when I got back I found they had waxed right over the sap and hadn't even bothered with the trunk, hadn't even properly cleaned the glass, etc. was told they couldn't authorize a refund, they never wound up calling me back to schedule a fix. read more

Excellent service and super easy. I made my reservation a couple weeks in advance and it only came out to $7/day for self parking. The van followed me to my spot and picked me up so I didn't have to wait in the cold dark for a second. The driver handed me a card with the company info and my parking spot written on it! Good initial experience with the app, I joined the club and made a reservation- all seamless. The confirmation included a $44 discount for AAA. The email/app said to be sure to have the QR code ready for contactless arrival and departure, but this was not the case. No QR codes means no automation, and the 1-2 people were not enough for the 5am rush of cars. Must have been 30 in the valet area, plus another 10 behind all us, all of us worried about missing our flights. Once the staff person wrote us a ticket, we still had to go inside to swipe the credit card and give pickup details. This was all on the reservation, which was never requested or referenced. Shuttle was fine. At pickup, the car was ready for us, with a receipt in the cupholder. I noticed that the AAA discount was not applied. I called, and they said they would credit it. I've checked my credit card and they've only credited about 1/2 of the discount. I don't understand, as this was all in the reservation. All in all, a stressful experience and needs more than one followup to get the right refund. read more

Nightmare experience. Flew in on late flight last night to pick up my vehicle. I used the app at 11:20pm to get my car ready through valet. Arrived at the office to find that many people had been waiting an hour for their car. There was no process as some people called 15-20 minutes prior and received their car. The man at the front desk disregarded concerns from me and others while waiting and just said the cars had been requested. They refused to even provide the keys so we could get our own cars. Finally at 1:15am the woman working at the front desk checked and found that they never took my key. I got my car at 1:20am (2 hours after I requested it when I had work early the next morning). The woman at the desk told me I'd get a refund, and they charged me instead and did not refund the amount. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! read more

I've parked at The Parking Spot several times and was happy with the service until my last trip. I had reserved and paid for a spot from April 6-April 13. Unfortunately my flight to Aspen on 4/6 was cancelled due to weather and I could not fly out until the next day. The Parking Spot wiped out my reservation (and the money that I had spent) and I had to re-book for a spot from the 7th-13th at a higher rate. I will never use The Parking Spot again. read more

It was super easy to make a reservation online, and you could choose to pay upfront or on return (I chose to pay on return, just in case of travel plan changes). Since my location was BDL and January weather can be unpredictable, I chose valet parking, knowing that if it snowed my car would be cleared off and warmed up for me on arrival. So, easy sign-up experience. When I got to the location, the valet checked me in, very friendly, and directed me inside to register and wait for the shuttle. Friendly counter staff were again helpful, and explained the return procedure. Had an easy shuttle ride to my terminal. On return, I followed the instructions on my claim ticket (call office and let them know you are coming, then wait for shuttle). Took the shuttle back and was happy to see my car, warmed up and waiting, on a chilly January night. read more

This is the worst place ever! They left our keys in our car - new Volvo and after days with keys in car the system shuts down. When we arrived to get our car the keys were locked inside and this company claimed it was our fault! After an argument and a promise to give us 5 days free points for parking (only because they refused to refund our money) they only gave us 3days. After a mgr shift change and me asking for a receipt and noticing 3 days vs 5 new mgr Brian said he would correct that mistake- guess what - his idea of correction was 4 days! After waiting 2 hours for family to bring a spare key to unlock the car we finally made it home 4 hours after arriving to The Parking Spot. This company is irresponsible, deceitful and deserves 0 stars. I cannot post unless I put in 1 star - but know this company is 0 in my book. read more

The aforementioned fuel charge, taxes, airport fees did add about ~$12 to a four-day parking charge. However, this is a solid option. Do give yourself some time because shuttles are less frequent than Roncari, but Roncari was nice enough to let us hitch a ride to Roncari. (Since they're next to each other, we just walked over to Galaxy.) AAA discount is small, but you should take advantage of it anyway. I called this company to receive a refund for poor service and they took my number to have a manager call. I waited a week and a half and no one called. I called again today and they said the same thing. we called to have our car ready for pick up (we did valet) and we waited an hour and they said it was on the way when really they never gave the keys to the person who retrieves cars. After an hour of asking for our keys to get it ourselves they kept saying that the car was on the way and they really had the keys in the room the whole time. They had lost another lady's keys who was next to us. read more

Negitive 5 Stars Roncari was the best. Never had an issue and used them 20 or more times. These people at the parking spot destroyed my truck and told me it was my fault. I showed up to pick up my vehicle and paid for everything. Then when I went outside to take delivery they told me there was an issue. They drove me to my truck and it was half way in the isle. They told me they had an issue. I get in the truck and my key cylinder was jammed to the start position, the shifter cable was broken and a brake line was broken and leaking everywhere. They told me this can happen on older trucks. I had to have the truck towed home. When I downloaded the video from my DVR I noticed that they had disabled it every time they moved the truck. My tracking unit told me that it was moved 15 times in 3 days and was driven all over the lot and left running for long periods of time. I have proof of this. They must have been sitting in it listening to the stereo system. You can look at the pictures I have included and see that the DVR worked perfectly on the way in and then they disabled it 6 times then they just shut it off or unplugged it. After starting to work on the truck I noticed the starter was burnt out by the key cylinder being jammed to the start position. Fuses were blown and the stereo now does not turn on. THIS IS NOT EXCEPTABLE!!! They have ignored me for over a month and now have sent me a letter saying they are not responsible. This has cost me over $1500 to repair. MUST BE BECAUSE I LEFT MY MAGA HAT ON THE BACK SEAT AND SOME ONE GOT TRIGGERED. I will never use this place again. They will not take care of your vehicle. They can do what they want and you have to deal with it. read more

I left my car for 6 days over the Christmas holiday. I requested my car be fully detailed and waxed before my return (as a present to myself). Upon return (December 31) and my car was retrieved -- I noticed immediately that the door weather strip on the driver's door was hanging. Ripped. The night manager was called -- he said it looked like when the waxing was being done someone rubbed too hard and ripped the weather strip. He took pictures and said he would put in a claim. I waited for a few days before starting to hound them about the damage to my car. After a MONTH of calling and Emails -- I was sent a letter saying my claim was DENIED. I WILL NEVER USE THE PARKING SPOT AGAIN. I suggest you look for other options available. I am so disappointed in the management. read more
