Yet somehow, the staff still cannot serve the customers within a reasonable time frame. This place has quickly earned a reputation for having incredibly slow service. Bottom line, the customer just wants to give you money for a product that is within arms reach of the bar staff yet it still takes you 10 minutes to get a drink. It may be local but I'd rather go somewhere else and have reliable services than take my chance with bar staff too busy chatting up the local talent instead of serving the people willing to pay their wages in business. Plenty chose from in Weybridge so I'll just go elsewhere from now on.

On my recent visit, it was so busy there was a queue - orderly but 8 people long - to get to the bar. We'd booked a table, so ordered our drinks with the food. The food and wine were perfectly OK, good pub grub, and we didn't have to wait long considering how busy it was (we were warned it might take half an hour but took half that). Service was a tale of two halves: an older waitress unceremoniously plonked down our glasses with the ice bucket and bottle. She didn't even open the bottle and pour the wine, let alone let us taste it, before walking off. The younger food waitress was, in contrast, a gem: she made knowledgeable recommendations on what to choose from the menu, and was absolutely charming throughout. So she got the tip at the end of it all. I'd go back as it such a great spot, but hope for slightly better service throughout next time, which would up it to four stars.
