The level of attention, support and care she puts into every session is remarkable. She provided me with a wealth of information every session and helped me to learn more about the birthing process and my own body. I couldn't have been happier with my experience with Dr. Meer. As a fellow clinician I know how difficult it can sometimes be for a patient to find quality service and compassionate care. I've had the privilege to learn alongside Dr. Meer and sought her advice during my very own pregnancy. As I entered into the final month of my own pregnancy, my child was transverse lying and Judith was more than willing to prescribe me some exercises to help move this kiddo in the appropriate position. This is simply the best medical experience I have ever had. Dr. Meer is phenomenal at what she does, empathetic, and knowledgeable and always knows just what to do to make things feel better. Her wide medical knowledge is also very impressive and you come away with a deeper understanding of your situation, which I believe also helps in the healing process. I have been seeing her for pelvic floor therapy after delivery, and she has tremendously helped me build back my core strength and resolve other issues down there. I enlisted the help of Judith post pregnancy as I was having pain on my left side. In just a few sessions the pain has completely disappeared and I have started working out again! Dr Meer is a godsend for helping you put yourself back together after pushing a baby out. She helped me with all my little aches and pains and knew exactly what the issues were the minute I told her what hurt. She explains everything in a way that is easy to understand and always sends a follow up email so you can refer back if needed to do the exercises properly. She also has great stories during physical therapy!! I might need to make an appointment once we are finished just to hear more stories! If you are looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate practitioner for your prenatal, postpartum, and overall pelvic needs, look no further! I visited Dr. Judith Meer during the third trimester of my first pregnancy with so many questions and obvious aches and pains associated with making a human. Judith provided a thorough assessment at my initial evaluation, focused and personalized treatment, and ample resources and suggestions to help improve my independence with taking care of my issues at home. We saw each other once a week to build of the last visit and address any other concerns that remained. I utilized Judith's care for about 3 sessions prior to delivering my beautiful baby girl and then 3 sessions afterward to address my postpartum needs. Honestly, the first few weeks after baby arrives, you really aren't thinking about yourself and it was nice to have an hour set aside each week to have someone help me work on my C-section incision, address/progress my strength deficits, and even address my concerns with my breastfeeding journey. She has a wealth of knowledge and gentle soul. When dealing with such an intimate part of the body, it is nice to know there is someone I can trust, who is professional, and who frankly isn't awkward and insensitive. Dr. Meer is a terrific Physical Therapist. She's super everything: smart, personable, empathetic and has a tremendous capacity to explain your body to you in ways you understand. My hip is healed and strong, thanks to her, and I gained an awareness of my body that has made my gym and yoga workouts a lot more interesting.
