Have shopped here with my daughter numerous times! Always nice and friendly. Their Bra fitting is beyond helpful!

She was very ugly to me the whole time. I asked her if she had a bag or basket for my items because I wanted to get a bunch of items. She acted very confused, " A bag?" she said. I explained to her and she raised her voice and said "No, we do not ! " I asked her to leave the bra up front for me. During this two other staff members are watching and not offering any alternative customer service to help out their store. I really did not feel welcomed after that and told them that ( the older lady with red hair ) was not very nice and made me feel uncomfortable so I will not be taking the items and I left the store. The other ladies working had the same attitude. So sad that people are treating other people crappy. I would not think the owner is paying y'all to scare away customers who are trying to support small local owned business. What's going on here?? read more

If zero stars were available for today's visit that's what would be selected. I had a general simple sizing question and asked the old red headed woman named Kay. She responded in a loud rude manner. She told me to wait and she would answer a simple question when she was done. Another sales person overheard and asked Kay if she wanted her to help us. She raised her voice and told the young girl NO. We are regular shoppers at perky peacock and after today I will not be back nor will I spend my hard working money there again. The staff was friendly and the experience was so much fun that I knew I would have to return for my own bridal shower one day. Fast forward to me getting engaged, Ms. Donna was easy to work with and so accommodating. The morning of the shower I arrived at the store to try on things and build up my registry and I had a blast. The staff answered all of my questions and I felt so confident and excited (I've never worn lingerie before). Angela was especially the sweetest person that helped me out. I am 78 with all the droops, sags, lumps that sometimes goes with age. I needed a good fitting bra, but was a little shy about going in to be fitted with my poor aged little body. Super disappointed in the employees attitude and their customer service. After a long day of shopping my mom was super excited to go to this store as she typically loves coming here. Unfortunately after today I'm not sure if we will be returning. She simply needed a bra fitting and after waiting 15 minutes for someone to even approach us an employee came over on her phone. My mom stated that she just needed help finding the correct size and the woman replied "I'm actually helping two other customers so you're gonna have to wait." No problem, that's fine. While we were waiting we decided to try and look for ourselves as it had been 20 minutes at that point. She found a few she thought would work and headed over to the fitting rooms. After waiting another 15 minutes and watching employees continue to stand by silently or be on their phones we ended up leaving. Not only did this upset me but it physically upset my mom and is definitely not the way to run a business. To the owner of the Perky Peacock, do better. read more

It is an adorable boutique in the heart of downtown New Braunfels with the cutest clothes, shoes, jewelry, but most importantly, bras and lingerie to fit everyone. They offer custom measurments and fittings to find the perfect fit for you. The owner, Donna is the sweetest and her staff is just as great! Went shopping with my aunt and sister. While my sister was getting fitted she was asked if she was a man. My aunt is a xxl and after showing off the shirt another employee said "it's cute I wish they had it in regular sizes" regular??? And then as I was paying for my things ANOTHER employee said, in a blatant attitude, "her AUNT is paying for these (gesturing to the things my aunt was buying for me) NOT her". I went to the Perky Peacock to be sized. I was wearing my mask and was shocked to be greeted by unmasked employees. The employee took me into a small dressing room to measure me, totally unmasked. I became very concerned and got out of the dressing room as fast as possible. During this pandemic and with COVID 19 cases rising, I felt this was totally irresponsible and inexcusable. As our state opens up, businesses need to be responsible. I wanted to shop. I went there respecting others with a mask, but felt totally disrespected. Me and a friend walked in because this place was so recommended, as were walking around one of the staff members came up to us and accused us of stealing. Today was my first visit and I am absolutely in love with this place now! First off, Shannon was awesome!! I cannot express how comfortable she made me feel and how quick and easy it was to get fitted and for her to find me the perfect bra(s)! She didn't even use a measuring tape, she just looked at "my girls" and came back with a bra that was perfect for me. Bra Heaven does exist. Shannon helped me in an emergency situation AND still managed to be sure she fit me in the perfect bra. She gets it. My girls actually look smaller in the right bra (36J) and I am more comfortable. Better posture too. They have tons of colors, sizes and brands but will order you what you want if they don't have it.
