With this new technology, sometimes my phone doesn't ring) I decided to go over there. The door was unlocked, walked into the facility at 1:30 and was met rudely by a woman who informed me they opened at 2 pm and that it was on the door. Since I read online they opened at 1:30, I was not looking for any alternative time and did not see 2 pm notice. She briskly and rudely ushered me out the door. Never mind the dog training, how about people training? Some thoughtfulness and organization would do wonders!

We had a person who would stay in the house for several years with them. However, she retired, so we were left trying other boarding facilities. Our pups always came how smelling awful from the stark conditions in which they were boarded. Our new pups have only been boarded at one other place, which we did not care for, so based on a recommendation from our niece, we called Alex and Alena for boarding for our recent vacation. It turned out to be the best call ever. They are the new owners who recently took over the operation, which is fantastic. We were escorted on a tour of the facilities and blown away. A huge play area where they provide daycare and dogs can mingle. Boarding accommodations are excellent, with beds and exceptionally clean, climate control, and even ceiling fans. You would never know they had been boarded when we picked them up. They were clean and didn't have that boarded odor. The best part for us is that the operation is at their home. Unlike other places, they don't lock up and leave the pups overnight. They are there! They play, walk, and care for the dogs every day. They are truly caring and amazing people. We wish them many years of success and look forward to boarding with them whenever we leave. In fact, we already booked our next visit. In our opinion, there are not enough stars in the universe to award them with!

Since then, we've been bringing our cats to them. We loved Dr. Lewis and Dr. MacNaughton when they were here. Dr. Butler owns the practice and does a great job with hiring new veterinarians when they are needed. Dr. Butler is a great veterinarian; I had met him several years before at Shaker Vet and was delighted to learn he was the owner of this practice! He is very thorough and answers all 384853848 of my questions that I always have, which I appreciate so much. We typically schedule our appointments with him as he is great, and knows us and our animals. We have seen Dr. Adams and liked him. We also saw Dr. Nowak recently and have no complaints. This whole practice is very competent and we trust them implicitly. Highly recommend this whole practice. Everyone who works here has been kind and taken excellent care of our cats and us.
