Our tradition started by my mom is to wake up the birthday boy/girl with a mini pyramid of the small, round, Hostess donuts with a candle on top. The family (all present) would then commence with sing "Happy Birthday". This tradition was carried on to my kids and we enjoy the sentiment. With my kids now living in different states I try to ship them their mini donuts in their annual birthday package. This year, I was late with Megan's and thought maybe sending her some flowers would at least help until I could get her shipment out. I called Ms. Kendall at Kendall's Flowers and Gifts to order a nice bouquet. Out of the blue I began to wonder if it would be possible, or probable, that a florist so many states away could fill an odd donut request while delivering a beautiful bouquet to my daughter. I explained the tradition, explained that I knew it was unusual, and asked if it was possible to also add a small package of donuts. Ms. Kendall laughed and asked what her favorite flavor was and told me no problem. I WAS SURPRISED! Ms. Kendall not only delivered the flowers and donuts, but she also removed the donuts from the package, put them on a plate wrapped in cellophane with a bow on top. Candle include! My daughter called in tears touched by the warmth of our tradition. THIS IS DEFINITELY WHAT I CALL ABOVE AND BEYOND. Thank you to Kendall's Flowers and Gifts, and Ms. Kendall specifically for helping us make my daughters birthday so special. I'm deeply grateful.

Apothos is a common ivy. It also had a small red bird a red bow and a small wicker basket. He paid $70 for that second grade plant. I called them to tell them that I was disappointed in the plant and she said that it was not her fault that one of her employees must have let it go looking like that. I then said it was a very puny plant and she hung up on me. If you would like to pay high prices for low-grade plants then keep doing business with her otherwise I would not recommend it.

She was exceptionally professional and patient with my requests and I was confident her Daughter (the Florist) would create a beautiful floral arrangement. Since this was to be the delivered the day before the funeral I told her I didn't want that kind and wanted something that would last longer. I spent $102 total and got an ugly, plain plant with the $20 crystal cross that I requested stuck on the dirt and pushed against the plant. The plant was so plain that I was ashamed of it and apologized to the family. I have used this florist multiple times in the past and have always been thrilled. This order was a complete disappointment. Next time I will make sure we are both on the same page.
