I went in a few weeks ago for a 90min deep tissue massage with CBD added on top. Let me start by saying I've gotten many deep tissue massages before, and I know not everyone can do them. So when I called, I made sure to emphasize to the lady scheduling me that they gave me somebody that actually knew what they were doing and could listen when I tell them more pressure...well, My masseuse was named Chad and my first indicator that this was not going to work out was the fact that I weighed about 60 pounds more than he does. And I'm not big, 5'8" 160 lbs. I prefaced the Massage to Chad as well that I needed it deep tissue and he needs to apply a lot of pressure as I am very tight on my back and shoulders. That was my reminder #1. He started the massage on the lower body, which didn't have enough pressure the entire time, I didn't say anything during the section cause it's not my area of interest for the most pressure so I let that slide as a warm-up for him. But once he moved onto my neck and shoulders, I reminded him twice that he needs more pressure to which he said something along the lines of as a masseuse we can feel what your muscles are doing in judge what's best to do. To be fair I get that you can cause more damage than good but when I'm paying almost $200 for a massage, I expect to at least be able to feel it. The entire session just felt like somebody was petting me. His breath smelled. He never once checked in to ask me if the pressure he was applying was sufficient during the entire 90 minutes, I have never experienced something like that. I wanted to walk out in the middle of my massage. I did not leave him a tip since he doesn't know how to listen to his clients needs and I'm not even sure that they gave me CBD lotion during my massage. Also, Chad, whatever pressure points you think you're doing at the end of each section aren't doing anything because you aren't applying enough pressure you're just wasting time during the massage, probably a solid 10 mins of massage time just standing there poking me. Horrible experience. Do better. read more

I had a terrible experience with Botox. the manager was supposed to call me, but that hasn't happened. my forehead looks hideous. It's smooth right in the middle but there's wrinkles on both sides of my forehead. The ladies at work noticed it and so did my husband. Worst 420.00 I've ever spent. But what's worse is the customer service was terrible. The manager can't even take a minute to call me and talk to me about it. I've never had more than 20-22 units of Botox. (I work for a Botox provider) but the nurse said " you probably need 42 units or you won't be happy with the results. Well I wasn't happy with the results of the 42 units! My Doc has never given me that much and I love the way she made me look. I won't be a return customer for sure. if anyone asks about a good provider, it won't be Acadia spa. read more

I'm a middle-aged gentleman who received a 90 minute massage from my wife for Christmas at this facility , her knowing how well I enjoy a relaxing massage. I was greeted by a masseuse in a darkened common area with soft chaise chairs and strewn with magazines, but no possibility to read without the presence of lamps. The masseuse herself lacked friendliness and relationship skills...no extended hand and introduction , no welcoming smile, no explanation of the facility or inquiries of my expectations. She pointed to a door behind which the placement of showers was, but no instructions on use of them, or any of the amenities adjacent to them, ie., deodorant, hair dryer, the eucalyptus sauna, which had to be explained by another patron. I was led to a warm dark room with soft background music, told to lie face up under a warming blanket, and once eye coverings were placed, received an above average deep tissue massage. Upon completion, I was led back to the common area for changing. I was told that any gratuity could be left voluntarily downstairs in an envelope. I did leave a 15% tip only because the massage was good, but have no compulsion to return as I felt there was no sign nor desire to establish an ongoing relationship for future massage treatments with me. read more

I made an appointment for my daughter and I for a massages and facial for this past Saturday. We get there and have our massages and learn that our facial were not out on their when I called to change the day the "new girl" that they said did it did not live the facials over with the massages. I have stage 4 breast cancer and have very few days where I feel up to doing anything and they ruined my day with my daughter that I had been looking forward to. When they didn't have any techs to fit us in I asked if they could compensate in anyway since it was fault on their end and the girl called who I'm assuming was the owner or head manager and said no she could not do any comp which In my opinion is terrible customer service when they are the ones who messed up. I have gone here quite a few times and the last 2 times tho has happened luckily the first time was caught before hand. I will not be back. If they would have made an effort on making it better o would still continue my business but a few free samples of moisturizer that you get out of a magazine will not do the trick. I used to love this place. It has changed a lot over the past year. Very difficult to get an appointment for pedicure. Had to wait 5 weeks. Only waited because I had a gift card. Upon arrival my nail tech said she needed a potty break. She returned smelling like smoke. Hmmm. The process took 40 min and it use to be at least an hour of pampering. I didn't feel pampered. She didn't offer to clip my nails. I had to ask her to. She did a decent job overall, but the paint job isn't perfect. I don't plan to return. Get more for my money at the quickie places. read more

Giving this spa non-experience a one. I called three times. Left a message the second time. Third time I got a "new" girl who promised to call me back because she didn't know what to tell me. Never heard back from anyone. Pretty sad. They won't get my business, and I was planning on spending some dollars for sclerotherapy. There are many more places around town to get it done. The first time I went, the owner was extremely rude to the customer in front of me regarding a coupon. I recently went back to purchase a $200 gift card and they charged me 7% to use my credit card. This place is ahhh-mazing! The amenities are great! The team takes great care of you and I always feel better after I leave. The decor and design are eye catching, very modern and beautiful. They have a sauna, arctic room as well as a Eucalyptus shower for after your massage (or to use anytime if you have a membership). Lovely facilities, super soft robes, and nice amenities. Unfortunately, horribly noisy. Could hear staff and guests walking the halls in heels, having conversations. Front lobby incredibly cluttered with cute retail, just seemed a bit much. I found front staff to be just lukewarm as far as being welcoming compared to other spas in town. Willing to try another visit during less busy time, but the noise was distracting. read more

Called for a sugar scrub exfoliation, and they were good enough to work me in on short notice -- and yes, I specifically stated "sugar scrub" -- this becomes important in a moment. The reception area is very nice, with several types of chairs and attractively arranged products, and the treatment room was spacious and attractive. I mentioned again that I was there for a sugar scrub, and that I had not had an exfoliation treatment before. As I was on the table I was informed they don't do sugar scrubs (which are gentler than a salt glow) anymore. I had to ask the MT to ease off pressure a couple of times during the process, and when I got home and showered I noticed a stinging in a few places on my shins and outer thighs. The next morning, there were scabs on those places such as a papercut would have. I wondered at the time if this was to be expected and didn't think to mention it right away -- when I did call a week later, the owner stated "Well, if you'd come in the next day so we could see it...". I live an hour away, and was in town for other errands when i had the initial appointment, AND the day spa is closed that next day. She did mention that she "might" offer me "half-off another salt glow" -- I leave my response to that to your imagination. read more

Definitely not my favorite. The front lobby area is very cluttered with retail. It's a small space where they have packed clothes, vitamins, multiple skin care lines, makeup... I received a 90 minutes facial with dermaplaning. We started about 5 minutes late and finished 10 minutes early than booked time. This was not my fault- Came in about 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, the esthetician just didn't give the full facial. She spent a good amount of time looking in her cabinet instead of focusing on my skin which is not what I paid for. The immediate results of the facial were beautiful which is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Luckily, there was a "text this number and get 20% off" that I utilized or else I would not have been happy. I never felt like I got a mask to finish off the facial either. Lovely atmosphere, but the Shellac manicure I had was sub par. The technician didn't do any cuticle treatment or buff my nails. Consequently, while my nails themselves looked nice, my cuticles weren't cleaned up so it wasn't so great, and then it completely peeled off only 3(!) days later which is waaay too soon for a Shellac. Thank goodness I had a gift certificate, because if I'd paid for this I would have been REALLY upset instead of just disappointed. read more

I especially liked the spa pedicure, it made my feet feel amazing, it was relaxing and everything a spa day should be. Everyone there was courteous and professional. This was our first time and it was amazing. My mom and i went for her birthday and got massages and full spa pedicures. You get the whole experience.. robes, relaxation room and water infused with cucumber and mint! The massage was the best I ever had!!!! Becky and Rachel were amazing. The staff was wonderful as well. I went to this spa for botox...they dropped my eyebrow and refused to give me an explanation. I thought I had just had a reaction (this is what they tried telling me), but found out later from a Physician that they had injected much too low on my forehead.
