My husband and I dined at The Pig & Palm in Cebu to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary and had a good time. On a Tuesday evening, there wasn't too many people at the restaurant, so we opted to sit at the counter. The chefs move very quickly and it seemed like most of the meals were pre-prepped. Meat was pre cut in bags and placed on the grill or oven before platting. We ordered the squid ink croquettes, pork belly, and carrots. I was surprised the croquettes and the pork belly came out in 5 minutes!! Nonetheless, the flavors were very good all around. Highly recommend the pork belly dish, and trying their signature cocktails. The Milk and Honey and Pineapple drink were my favorites. We opted to not get any desserts, and ended the night with a fantastic glass of cava. Overall, I give this restaurant 4 stars, because I believe the service could have been better and more accommodating to celebrate our 1 year.

So I've traveled all over lookIng for my favorites restaurants. I've accumulated about 35 that I consider the best. However this spot is #2 on my list, #1 being a steak dinner I had in Argentina. I went with the right foodie person who appreciates this place as much as I did. I'm from California and this place has convinced me to come back to Cebu three times in 2019 along with its beautiful waters and landscape. Cebu is truly a food capital in this world. Try a little of everything. Share each big plate with 2 people! You will be happy when you leave in a food coma.

Are here twice for dinner on my entry and exit nights in Cebu. What a treat to eat food of this quality after traveling around enjoying more rustic fare. The prawns are a standout for me. The gnocchi with chicken thighs was delicious BUT became entirely too sweet once the caramelized onions were discovered. Completely not needed in this dish. Beet salad 9/10 Cauliflower 8/10 best to share as it is quite rich 60' lava cake 9/10 would prefer coconut ice cream to the salted caramel Croquettes 8/10 needed a bit more salt. The aioli helps. As a solo diner, I ate in front of the kitchen one night and the other in the side room. I would not recommend the side room. Felt isolated and with larger groups or children, way too loud. The bar would have been better. Service was above reproach. When my travels take me back to Cebu, I will definitely return.

The loveliest restaurant recommendation I have ever received. As I walked in the ambiance felt inviting and warm yet sophisticated. The staff were so professional and knowledgeable about everything from pairing wines to choosing the best items that would match my palette. It is a common food question to receive "well, what do you enjoy, savory or sweet?", Pig & Palm displayed they can do both at the same time subtly and seamlessly. I got the famous brioche, every flavor compliments the other and the bread is like a cloud of sheer goodness. I also got the miso glazed carrots with baba ganoush - life changing I will never look at carrots the same again. I couldn't help but order the acclaimed confit pork belly... UNREAL! You don't need a knife because it literally melts in your mouth in the smoothest of ways. The flavors paired with it are perfect. Finally to top it off I got the chocolate lava cake, next to a little vanilla ice cream and mousse, with hints of cinnamon. I recommend you pair this with the Grenache. You will be satisfied you tried this gem of a place :)

to be honest this place is way over rated and way too expensive. i dont mind paying a little more for food as long as its worth it. they have fish for 700 and its just a small tail with some mussels which is sooo not worth it. the dessert they have is good. it was a chocolate dessert. i would pass if ur in the area.

Had breakfast here with my husband while visiting Cebu! Very pleasant experience. Had the cappuccino, mango juice for my drinks. Clean and very trendy atmosphere. It's a bit pricey in my opinion for the locals. It's kind of hidden so you have to keep your eyes open finding this place if you're not familiar with the area. Great experience though for sure.

The Pig and Palm. This restaurant is one of the very few establishments that offers casual refined dining in Cebu City. Service is amazing (waiters and the staff are quite attentive to your every need), food is quite well rounded and reasonably priced compared to other Michelin star rated establishments that I've been to (Paris, London, Napa Valley, Italy, etc). The owners are nice and are always quite welcoming. Ambiance is quite awesome. It has the feel of a London establishment with its the dim lights and brick walls. Overall The Pig and Palm is a must try in Cebu.
This is one of the new and upcoming asian fusion cuisine spot, quite a variety of options ranging from fresh local fish ceviche to gnocchi with asian twist. Preparation and presentation is great, good service and Michelin star doesn't hurt to go with the establishment that does fantastic effort to blend four dimensions asian with Italian and the new with the traditional. read more

Very delicious meal! I did a little solo date midday at an awkward hour so the restaurant was basically empty when I came in. I indulged since I was on vacation and saw it was michelin bib gourmand recognized by having a lychee martini (fantastic!), roasted carrots, octopus, gnocchi, pork belly entree, and the mango soufflé for dessert. All the food was splendid and I was surprised at how filling most of them were. My only caveat was that the octopus could have been cooked a bit more to be softer to bite into. The restrooms are within the office building around the corner, so not in the restaurant as an fyi. Excellent service all around. read more

Food was amazing, food, service, ambience!!! They accommodated us despite no reservation made. Got prime seating, right in front of the chefs kitchen, saw first hand meal preparation by chefs no less. Pretty hefty serving, I got the beef Wellington, delish! No wonder it's Michelin rated restaurant, a must in Cebu! Worth every penny spent. read more

Wonderful food and attentive service. The team also graciously accommodated an off-menu request, which we truly appreciated.
We only had a couple apps, drinks and desert. I have some feedback. The server we had was not able to explain the menu very well. The prawns were really well flavored and very fresh, you can tell a fresh prawn when you suck the heads and it tastes amazing. but served in a plate full of butter. The description also seemed like they were cooked in squid ink. The squid ink was on the side and was mayo based. The salmon croquet was served in a bowl full of tatersauce. I was thinking it would have been in a mustard type of sauce. In a restaurant that asks the prices it does relative to the average incomes in the Philippines I was a little disappointed as the base ingredientes were of high quality. The deserts were amazing. The lava cakes was super good and the home made vanilla ice cream was next level. The chocolate mouse and homemade sorbet was even better than the lava cake. read more

I absolutely love the Pig & Palm restaurant. Great steaks, burgers, or anything else you might fancy. The food is always amazing.
I've been going to The Pig and Palm since 2018. It is my favorite place in Cebu. With its upscale-casual ambiance and appropriate music choice (one of my absolute MUSTS in a restaurant) It's the only place I can go to during my long stints in Cebu City for a fantastic dining experience. The food is excellent. With tried and true staples along with seasonal offerings, I have never had a complaint. The staff is very professional and well trained. That's a rarity in Cebu. Service almost everywhere else sucks. I have yet to have staff tell me the things I ordered are not available-- a common annoyance in Cebu. The cocktails are made to perfection. The bar staff is world class. With that said, I recommend the following: - The Signature Brioche with onion jam - Chargrilled Miso Carrots - Garlic Prawns with Squid Ink Aoli - Roasted Salmon Fillet - Any of the wagyu ribeyes. Sit at the bar. Order an Aviation. Maybe 2. Definitely 2. Enjoy. read more

The ambiance oozes big city sophistication, and the space has that cozy feeling as its based in an office building. The food has great presentation and good taste, the cocktails are strong with whimsical names at 250 pesos, i suggest the dill or no dill cocktail. read more

Location sucks and I predict it closes in 12 months. Resto owners think rent is cheap it will work but location is everything. Should pay 3x rent and be in a better location. Higher churn in food, volume aggregation etc. sorry just telling it the way it is. read more

I have absolutely NO idea why this place is ranked poorly. Yes it's a pricey penny but when the chef is a Michelin rated for good reason and the food and drinks are incredible, it's absolutely worth the price. I've come here plenty of times and have been impressed by the food. Things definitely that you can't miss are the croquettes, Korean fried chicken, and the toffee cake. Also huge kudos to the fantastic bartender because their drinks are some of the most well made in the entire city. I've finally tried all their specialty cocktails and love Dill or No Dill and Coff' Medicine the most. McBanDaq and Milk & Honey also have fantastic presentation so definitely give it a shot. read more

Back at The Pig & Palm after a couple of years, and it's still just as polished. The space is elegant but relaxed, with that understated kind of confidence. Bar is well-stocked, cocktails are solid, and service? Flawless. Quietly efficient, never overbearing. We started with the Nori Chips, light, crisp, and packed with flavor. A simple opener, done right. The Miso-Glazed Pulpo came next, and it was the kind of dish that stops conversation. The octopus was tender with just the right char, and the miso glaze gave it a sweet-savory edge that pulled everything together. Definitely a must-order. For mains, we had the Hand-Rolled Tagliatelle in Rich Tomato Sauce with Basil. The pasta was perfectly al dente, sauce slow-cooked and vibrant. Yum The KFC-style Chicken was fun, crispy, and full of flavor. Another one I'd order again without hesitation. Then for dessert: Poached Strawberry with Basil Sponge, Lemon Curd, and Meringue. Light, acidic, and just sweet enough. Smartly plated and a refreshing way to close the meal. Whether you're looking for an after-work spot or a dinner catch-up with friends, The Pig & Palm still holds up, maybe even better than before. The kitchen's clearly leveled up, and it shows. read more

This place is a real gem, one of the best around. It's definitely a fine dining experience. However, the food quality can be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes it's amazing, other times just okay. Still, I'd say it's worth checking out. read more
