This was the best shrimp I've ever had in my life! The Black Pepper Sauce was everything, I even got extra to go. The fish fried rice was delicious & HUGE!!! I seriously ate on it 3/4 times. The scallops were broiled to perfection & delicious! I was such a big back ordering all of this for myself, but who cares?! The employees were so sweet & they could SANG!!! I loved the energy here. It was my first stop after dropping my bags at the hotel. Make sure you try it!

Great menu but poor service, limited choice of drinks and food barely warm. Nobody refreshes your table or asks if you need another drink. Famous place, but would never eat here again, really poor service and food is 6/10 at best

Nestled within Cebu's Fuente area is a gem waiting to be discovered - Choobi Choobi seafood restaurant! A quick browse into the menu reveals this resto's specialties - seafoods galore! There's Scampi "baby lobsters" in a bag, giant bamboo clam, lobster/fish combo, and of course their signature dishes; Lola Pepang's Fried Manok and Stan's Fried Black Pepper Shrimps! They also have classic dining staples such as belly dancer (grilled liempo), pork barbeque, sinigang, nilaga, and a lot more! Craving for desserts, try their choco molten kiss or their special halo-halo! The price is okay-ish but it's definitely worth a visit.

Great family style restaurant in Cebu! Loved the crispy Pata so much that we ordered 5 of them! The fried garlic shrimp and fried calamari was delicious. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from. A lot of classic Filipino dishes as well as specialty dishes. Very clean establishment with bathrooms and hand washing stations. Though it was very hot outside, they had a lot of fans and outdoor air conditioners which made the experience amazing.

Located street side with an open air concept, this is the first ever Bucket Shrimps location. This…read moreoriginal location is located in what used to be the owner's grandma's parking lot. Bucket Shrimps offers a cajun flavour which has been fine tuned to Filipino taste buds. It is a bit sweeter and absolutely bowl licking tasty. It can be spicy or non-spicy. There is also garlic butter flavour. As the name suggests, they offer buckets of shrimps. But it does not end there, you can get crab, mussels, bbq pork, liempo as well. So you can get both seafood and grilled pork items. Eat this with rice. There may be more on the menu, but we stuck to the above. The concept is similar to restaurants offering cajun seafood boiled in plastic bags, but instead of serving the food in boiled plastic bags (which I have to admit is rather unappetizing), this place serves them in appetizing looking buckets :). There are no utensils provided, they give you gloves. There are no plates provided, you just put the food straight on the plastic table cover. You can order beer here as well. Everything was scrumptious and the location is just so unique for North American Standards, like an old school carinderia street food, with no quality being compromised. Kamayan style, street food style, this place is really a different and fun dining experience!!! Note: there may be kids who may come in and ask you to buy their items. This might take away from the tranquility of eating your food in peace.

Each and every dish is absolutely delicious. I loved those in Cajun sauce the most. It is ideal for…read moreanyone who has a taste for high-quality, reasonably priced seafood. The location's amazing because it's in the heart of the city. I wish there were more branches, though.
