Charming local pub in the middle class Kennington neighborhood. A good mix of modern needs and vintage pub decor. Large TV for watching games, tasty food and two patios! Front patio is surrounded by flowers and the back patio is the beer garden. Pub staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Even the security guard out front was nice!

I visited this pub on vacation. Down the street from a distillery I visited. The bartender was familiar with the coupon I had and recommended what to try. I ordered wings which came out really quick. They were fresh, tasty and hot! Would order again. Great location. Fun atmosphere. Great service. Bathroom was clean. Specials almost daily I noticed. Indoor and outdoor seating. Spacious and bright inside. I was there late morning and there was a growing crowd. Two entrances and plenty windows for views. Would definitely visit again.

Looking at the previous reviews, they really don't make justice to this nice Pub. It has been completely renewed and I think the owners have also changed. We popped in today for a lunch and it look amazing: friendly and welcoming staff, the place is clean and tidy. We ordered pies, Burger and sandwiches and everything was beyond expectations!! DELICIOUS and good value. And chaps, one pint for less than 4 quid! I really think everyone should give this place a go, especially now that they are also showing the Euro 2016 matches!!

Fairly quiet (well, almost dead for a Friday night in fact!) local in a dodgy looking area of Vauxhall. It's got a beer garden, karaoke system, and a pool table. Both Adams ales were off (why oh why?) but they had Old Peculiar bottles in the fridge, which saved the day. The outdoor seating could do with a little shoring up

Nice enough place, very light inside with white walls. Three large televisions showing Olympics. Front and back gardens. The ale was good. One of the barmaids boyfriend was in the pub wearing skates, he was skating in & out of the pub. Not sure if they are trying to do what some American bars do, and have skating servers, I doubt it would work.

Starting to smell like sewage. I suggest they find the problem before it gets too bad

We were seated right away and ordered a burger, which came with red coleslaw and French fries. The burger was cooked well and was delicious. The French fries were just as good. The restaurant was clean, and although busy, the staff was attentive and friendly. A shout-out to Ellis, who was our hostess, server, and even our tour guide all in one! He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and made our experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a great burger in London with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, Red Lion is definitely worth a visit!

Very busy, but thankfully they have a second floor. We had a reservation and seated upstairs. Love the look and the vibe. I of course went with fish and chips and was thrilled at how good it was. My wife had garlic chicken and loved it. They have a full line up of beer, but because of the surprise heat wave went with water. There are lots of pubs to choose from, but The Red Lion has political history and even surprise visitors that come by.
