Initially Jerry Lucente's office was pretty good. Now it seems like either they have a lot of turn over and the training is poor, or the customer service factor is just going straight down. Every month I would make one payment for two policies because for whatever reason the policies were not combined. Now for the past 6 months when I call my payment into the office, I have to explain/train the individual that I make one payment for both policies to keep the charges on my card down i.e. multiple charges to one company. Today I am fit to be tied because now, even though Jerry would take my payment and apply them to both polices the rep advised me that it could not be done and was told by Jerry that it could not be done. How, for the past couple of years, do you take one payment and apply them to the policies and now today it can't be done. What the hell? I have several rental buildings, a boat, a car, a motorcycle and a scooter. She is able to handle them all. Also, so many insurance agents are on your account for 6 months and then you don't know what happened. One day you get a letter from some guy that is your new agent. You won't have to worry about that with her. She has been in business for years and is available to help you when you need her.

A grossly incompetent office staff featuring a rude receptionist who either doesn't give the agent or her team your message or if she gives the message, it's likely incorrect. 2. A battle to get a claim processed for an auto accident even when it was determined you were not at any fault for the accident (my then 5 year old understood better how the accident took place than Ms. Luscombe's staff!) 3. A long wait time for any calls back (if you are lucky enough to even get a call back). 4. A rude and clearly out of touch agent who YELLED at my wife after she called to follow up regarding a billing issue (she had to follow up since nobody from the office got the message-or so they claim). We have been long time customers of this office (my wife for over 20 years and myself for over 10). This used to be a good office, but the level of rudeness combined with the office staff's incompetence left us with no choice to switch to another local agent; at this point pretty much any other agent is an instant upgrade! Debbie: you had better find some competent office staff along with finding yourself some manners and customer service skills before many others follow our lead and go to another agent, but somehow I have the feeling that is already happening! I will pay this because I probably have to at this point but never again with this office , stay away don't fall into their lies & bs. Absolutely the worst business ethics i've ever experienced.

I was insured with Vince Schmidt Allstate Agency for years until recently. I had suspicions for years that he was an ***hole as he always acted like I was taking up his time, rushed me off of the phone, and was often rude and unfriendly. A recent simple friendly request by my wife confirmed my suspicions. He blew up on my wife. It takes quite a man to raise his voice to a kind-hearted, caring woman. She was speechless about it. I'm really easy going and laid back, so we're just done with any further experiences with him. I won't even go into detail. Know that this guy is crazy! I would guess that he enjoys conflict, and I'm certain he is not a very happy person in life. JUST STAY AWAY FROM VINCE SCHMIDT!!! Trust me on this...I would call any other Allstate Agent in the area. They can sell you the same products with a smile, courtesy, and respect. I called Allstate Insurance to complain, and was bounced around. I eventually talked to customer service, his manager, and other Allstate Agents. They ALL pretty much laughed when they heard his name. It turns out he is very widely complained about, is not very good at his job, and he is a known malcontent. OK. I've warned the public.
