A grossly incompetent office staff featuring a rude receptionist who either doesn't give the agent or her team your message or if she gives the message, it's likely incorrect. 2. A battle to get a claim processed for an auto accident even when it was determined you were not at any fault for the accident (my then 5 year old understood better how the accident took place than Ms. Luscombe's staff!) 3. A long wait time for any calls back (if you are lucky enough to even get a call back). 4. A rude and clearly out of touch agent who YELLED at my wife after she called to follow up regarding a billing issue (she had to follow up since nobody from the office got the message-or so they claim). We have been long time customers of this office (my wife for over 20 years and myself for over 10). This used to be a good office, but the level of rudeness combined with the office staff's incompetence left us with no choice to switch to another local agent; at this point pretty much any other agent is an instant upgrade! Debbie: you had better find some competent office staff along with finding yourself some manners and customer service skills before many others follow our lead and go to another agent, but somehow I have the feeling that is already happening! I will pay this because I probably have to at this point but never again with this office , stay away don't fall into their lies & bs. Absolutely the worst business ethics i've ever experienced.

So yet again State Farm has, unsurprisingly, dropped the ball. if you see my Google review you'll be able to see how this all initiated. I have continued to follow up on my claim every single day including on Saturday and continued to receive different answers depending on each person I speak to. At this point my rental is due back on Wednesday. I still do not have funds for a new car. Nobody has extended my rental, which is some thing I have been asking for multiple times, knowing this would be an issue. I am in the exact same spot that I was in when my car was deemed a total loss on Wednesday despite all of my efforts offering to go pick up paperwork from the DMV, which I was told I cannot do...only to wait for my mail to come today (after State Farm REFUSED to expedite or overnight it) which is the exact form I would've picked up from the DMV with no information from State Farm outside of my Vin number and miles that I already had. So I waited from Wednesday to today (Monday) for a paper that I could've had completed on Wednesday to expedite the process but State Farm told me I couldn't. For those wondering it is the Illinois title transfer power of attorney form that is available at every DMV in Illinois but instead I had to wait for Arizona to mail it out to me from State Farm for me to fill it out here in Illinois and have sent back. It seems State Farm is almost actively attempting to delay the claims.

I was insured with Vince Schmidt Allstate Agency for years until recently. I had suspicions for years that he was an ***hole as he always acted like I was taking up his time, rushed me off of the phone, and was often rude and unfriendly. A recent simple friendly request by my wife confirmed my suspicions. He blew up on my wife. It takes quite a man to raise his voice to a kind-hearted, caring woman. She was speechless about it. I'm really easy going and laid back, so we're just done with any further experiences with him. I won't even go into detail. Know that this guy is crazy! I would guess that he enjoys conflict, and I'm certain he is not a very happy person in life. JUST STAY AWAY FROM VINCE SCHMIDT!!! Trust me on this...I would call any other Allstate Agent in the area. They can sell you the same products with a smile, courtesy, and respect. I called Allstate Insurance to complain, and was bounced around. I eventually talked to customer service, his manager, and other Allstate Agents. They ALL pretty much laughed when they heard his name. It turns out he is very widely complained about, is not very good at his job, and he is a known malcontent. OK. I've warned the public.
