A grossly incompetent office staff featuring a rude receptionist who either doesn't give the agent or her team your message or if she gives the message, it's likely incorrect. 2. A battle to get a claim processed for an auto accident even when it was determined you were not at any fault for the accident (my then 5 year old understood better how the accident took place than Ms. Luscombe's staff!) 3. A long wait time for any calls back (if you are lucky enough to even get a call back). 4. A rude and clearly out of touch agent who YELLED at my wife after she called to follow up regarding a billing issue (she had to follow up since nobody from the office got the message-or so they claim). We have been long time customers of this office (my wife for over 20 years and myself for over 10). This used to be a good office, but the level of rudeness combined with the office staff's incompetence left us with no choice to switch to another local agent; at this point pretty much any other agent is an instant upgrade! Debbie: you had better find some competent office staff along with finding yourself some manners and customer service skills before many others follow our lead and go to another agent, but somehow I have the feeling that is already happening! I will pay this because I probably have to at this point but never again with this office , stay away don't fall into their lies & bs. Absolutely the worst business ethics i've ever experienced.

So yet again State Farm has, unsurprisingly, dropped the ball. if you see my Google review you'll be able to see how this all initiated. I have continued to follow up on my claim every single day including on Saturday and continued to receive different answers depending on each person I speak to. At this point my rental is due back on Wednesday. I still do not have funds for a new car. Nobody has extended my rental, which is some thing I have been asking for multiple times, knowing this would be an issue. I am in the exact same spot that I was in when my car was deemed a total loss on Wednesday despite all of my efforts offering to go pick up paperwork from the DMV, which I was told I cannot do...only to wait for my mail to come today (after State Farm REFUSED to expedite or overnight it) which is the exact form I would've picked up from the DMV with no information from State Farm outside of my Vin number and miles that I already had. So I waited from Wednesday to today (Monday) for a paper that I could've had completed on Wednesday to expedite the process but State Farm told me I couldn't. For those wondering it is the Illinois title transfer power of attorney form that is available at every DMV in Illinois but instead I had to wait for Arizona to mail it out to me from State Farm for me to fill it out here in Illinois and have sent back. It seems State Farm is almost actively attempting to delay the claims.

Initially Jerry Lucente's office was pretty good. Now it seems like either they have a lot of turn over and the training is poor, or the customer service factor is just going straight down. Every month I would make one payment for two policies because for whatever reason the policies were not combined. Now for the past 6 months when I call my payment into the office, I have to explain/train the individual that I make one payment for both policies to keep the charges on my card down i.e. multiple charges to one company. Today I am fit to be tied because now, even though Jerry would take my payment and apply them to both polices the rep advised me that it could not be done and was told by Jerry that it could not be done. How, for the past couple of years, do you take one payment and apply them to the policies and now today it can't be done. What the hell? They blame corporate and state if in fact they were paid twice, a refund would be issued, probably not !!! They quoted me a $19 a year increase in my liability coverage to go to $500K, but the bill came and it was a $43 a year increase. No EXPLANATION !!! When did CUSTOMER SERVICE LEAVE THE INSURANCE BUSINESS ??? Must be nice not having to respond to customers complaints, and only take their premiums. Looking for a new agent, or at least one that provides genuine customer service. Will be reaching out to STATE FARM HQ to file a complaint as well.
