When u go remember to throw away the toilet paper or any tampons. The plumbing is shotty but they do advise. This was an amazing vacation with an amazing view. And it is close to the surfer beaches and has a lot of food around. There's a bakery nearby that makes the best guava cakes and cafe con leche. If i could move here i would in a heart beat. It's a perfect spot for a getaway. You do need a rental car and the driving in PR is INSANE but totally worth every second. I can't wait to come back! Thanks lemon tree for making my first visit to PR the best And most amazing!!!

I loved sitting there with my coffee and reading my book. Our suite was the "Banana", which had a fairly large Jacuzzi. I didn't think I would be interested in soaking in warm water (hello, Caribbean!), but after a morning of diving and some time spent in the cold pouring rain, it sounded perfect, and it was extremely relaxing. It was a great preparation for my afternoon nap. We booked the LemonTree over the internet - the website was very web 2.0, showing real time booking status of each room. The online booking was itself painless. When we arrived in the afternoon of our first day in Rincon, we found an envelope with our name on the office door, greeting us and giving us directions to our room. We may not have ever seen our hosts at all if Martin hadn't gone to the public area to use the grill one night. The couple who run the place were both quite friendly. Speaking of dinner, we cooked all our meals in our room. The kitchenette was pretty tiny, and one of our burners didn't work at first (Martin reconnected it pretty quickly). But we managed to make some decent meals. Rincon has at least one decent-sized supermercado about fifteen minutes from the LemonTree, where we stocked up on groceries. There are multiple beach toys provided, including noodles, boogie boards, and floats for the kids. There really isn't much beach, though - it appears to have probably washed partially away over time. So there isn't a lot of room to lounge on the sand, but the water is easily accessed. I would love to come back to the LemonTree. Next time we'll probably trade the Jacuzzi for the suite with the larger kitchen. But either way I know I will be happy.

This property is very well kept and worth every cent. The street parking is good and the house is in a great location with a full service (alcohol) grocery store in walking distance. Not a four-star "Hilton", but better! Very homey, nice & comfortable. And the views over the ocean are picture perfect! I rented the villa for my wedding guests and everyone loved it. There was enough spaces where we could socialize, but also we could each have our privacy. I rented the whole downstairs and the larger upstairs apartment facing the ocean. We actually had our rehearsal dinner upstairs for 30 people and it was very, very nice! We originally wanted to get married on the beach, but there wasn't much beach for 50 people. The tide was in most of the time we were there, so keep that in mind if you are planning a wedding there. There is also a sharp coral reef a few feet from the beach, so make sure to wear water shoes! Two of my guests got splinters from the coral. The staff were friendly and attentive. The owner was very professional to work with. He was very responsive and helpful.

An Unforgettable Stay at Villa Cofresi - Truly Exceptional Hospitality…read moreOur stay at Villa Cofresi in Rincón, Puerto Rico turned an unexpected situation into one of the most memorable experiences of our trip--and honestly, one of the best hotel stays we've ever had. We were originally staying at a different 5-star resort and were scheduled to fly out today. Due to a flight cancellation and the resort's inability to extend our stay, we had to book Villa Cofresi at the very last moment. We are genuinely glad this happened, because it led us to discover a place we will return to again and again. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and customer service were exceptional. Gonzalez at the front desk, who is absolutely wonderful, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for during a stressful and unexpected situation. She took the time to learn that it was my birthday week, and without us expecting anything at all, she surprised me with a thoughtful little gift left in our room. That level of care truly touched our hearts. To make it even more special, the owner, Sandra Caro, graciously sent a bottle of champagne on behalf of the hotel and staff to celebrate my birthday. This incredibly kind gesture speaks volumes about her leadership and the culture of warmth and generosity she has created at Villa Cofresi. The villa itself is immaculate--spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located. The views are absolutely stunning, the location is fantastic, and every single staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. The atmosphere feels genuine, relaxed, and personal--something that many so-called luxury resorts simply don't offer. What truly sets Villa Cofresi apart is how the team goes out of their way to make guests feel special and valued, even when arriving under last-minute circumstances. In many ways, the service here exceeded that of the 5-star resort we were previously staying at. From now on, Villa Cofresi will be our place to stay whenever we visit Puerto Rico . We will absolutely be coming back and are highly recommending this hotel to our friends and family. Thank you to Gonzalez, Sandra Caro, and the entire Villa Cofresi team for turning an unexpected event--and my birthday week--into such a meaningful and unforgettable experience.

We reserved a table at the balcony right at sunset at 6pm. We arrived and promptly got thru the security and were taken to our table and it was the most gorgeous view ever. We ordered the signature drink, The Pirata, and it was delish, very strong , and came in a coconut. We then wanted to order dinner. But no server or employee of any kind came to our table for over an hour after we got our drinks. We waited and waited and when we decided to give up and go elsewhere then finally a server came. So we decided to order since it was about 7:15 and we figured it would take too long to go somewhere else and order. My bf ordered the lobster mofongo in some kind of soup and I got red snapper in a plantain crust. Then again we waited and waited. I was so hungry I started trying to pick the coconut pieces out of my Pirata drink. Finally at 8:11 our food was served, And we were starved. I was prepared to hate the food haha but it was actually so delicious. So I guess come here if you are not starved and have tons of time. And you will get a delicious meal w the most beautiful sunset view.
