I like supporting local shops and today wasn't an exception. I found this place and I must say it was worth it. We got a Large half margarita, half spinach/mushrooms, added pepperoni and red sauce to the whole thing. The Pizza overall was really good! My dining experience here was absolutely terrible. The service was very bad, and food mediocre at best. After getting numerous mean facial expressions from the staff my cousin and I were asked to leave because we spent too much time talking and not eating. The food was extremely greasy. Instant heart burn kind of greasy. It is true the food is very inexpensive, but it seems it is due to cheap food ingredients, definitely not fresh. May 17,2021- One of the employees closed the door on my face while I got down do pick up my order once I had ALREADY PAID. Another one of the employees made signs of "nope, we're closed." This is the BEST tasting pizza in Cameron county and could hold its own against even little Italian mom and pop joints. Rich flavor, fresh toppings, sauce is unique and comforting, the crust is perfect, crisp yet chewy- never burned or soggy. Been here a dozen times & it's always consistent, and always delicious - not a bad value either, in spite of inflation. This is a clean and healthy feeling eatery and if you live close, delivery is fast and reliable. Customer service is no-nonsense and always friendly. You cant even rate this place in the same category as the local chain pizza places, this is unique and the product is better by orders of magnitude! No comparison... The pies have gotten better since they first opened. Picked up a medium supreme pizza, mango jalapeño wings and fries. The pizza and wings were spot on. Crust was crispy and wings were a bit on the mild side. The fries was the only disappointment. They were all just soggy by the time I got home (5 minutes). Maybe poke some holes on the top of the box to vent the steam out? Only holding out on the last star due to being told it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes and it actually taking 35 minutes to receive the order from the time I called. read more

They more than likely deleted the pic of the disgusting pizza they delivered to my house. don't order delivery from these people. when I advised them of the trash they delivered to my home, they replied with, "I'm sorry, we will try to make it better for our customers in the future." I'm originally from Chicago and this place does a lot of things right. Some things can be improved upon, but more on that later. First of all they advertise "Fresh" ingredients, and from every single bite I take, I feel that it's a true statement. Their dough is delicious in taste and "doneness". It's a tad bit crispy/crunchy, but that's to my liking. The sauce is not overly sweet but has a good flavor to it. The regular mozzarella is delicious on its own, but my favorite part is the fresh mozzarella. I haven't seen many pizza joints pull this off well, but this place takes the cake. It's well integrated with the normal mozzarella but has a special bite on it a flavor rush I look for in every bite. The toppings are all pretty good and fresh too!! While this is my favorite pizza in the valley so far, there are some points of slight disappointment... The sausage tastes like it's something they got from a large distributer and I've tasted it at a few different places, being from Chicago the local joints up there often times have very unique flavors for their sausage as they buy from local butcher shops and Italian stores. The wings also seem very ho-hum and offer nothing that sets them apart from any other pizza place. But it could be that it's the point, feed the people what their used to. Last but not least the fried mozzarella sticks. I still have yet to see any pizza joint pull this off outside of Chicago. You have all this mozzarella at your disposal... use it to make homemade fried mozzarella sticks. The ones that are served here taste like the frozen ones you can buy at Walmart, again nothing that sets them apart. These tiny personal gripes are small enough to put aside. I often miss the flavor from home, and The pizzeria does a more than adequate job of bringing that handcrafted taste to the valley and it's residents. Great pizza and great place! Formacio you have to spend more time at your Brownsville store. I ordered a large pizza for pickup. I go to pick it up. I walk in and a girl was cleaning the windows from the inside. She didn't say hello, welcome to the Pizzeria, nothing at all, she just ignored me. I wait at the counter for about 20 seconds. I then ask someone working in the kitchen. Can I get some help. He calls out for someone by name. Low and behold he's calling for the girl that was cleaning the windows to help me. No enthusiasm, no sorry to keep you waiting, nothing just a "yes" and not even a "yes can I help you" just a "yes". Like I was bothering her or something. I told her I was there to pick up an order. She handed me the pizza. Charged me. Etc. didn't tell me thanks for coming, or anything. Very disappointed. I felt that I probably would never be back. When I walked in, I noticed that the restaurant was empty. Now I know why. I will be going back to Dominos, their pizza is better and cheaper and they are glade to have my business. read more
