First time in this store and I'm already inlove! The vibes and staff are very friendly. The store has many options from rare uncommon to common plants. They have complete selection of items. I got Monstera Adansonii Albo which is so pretty. I will definitely come back here including my family and friends. I recommend this store!

Amazing selection. Rare plants and the service is impeccable. The workers know their stuff! The prices are reasonable. It's one of my favorite spots for plants. I got a philodendron and a monstera albo (not pictured).

I've visited most of the plant shops in the Bay Area and The Plant Sitter has the most incredible selection. There were tropicals, cacti, caudiciforms, aquatic plants, rare/variegated plants, and even a whole shelf of Hoyas! I was in awe the entire time I looked around - such diversity in one shop! The owner is extremely friendly and kind. She gave me a quick rundown of ficus care when I checked out, even though it was busy with many customers around. I've been searching for a ficus petiolaris for a year and a half, so finding one here at a great price was very exciting. The prices seemed fair, even for the rarer species. Overall I had an amazing time shopping here and can't wait to come back!

I love this plant shop so much! Location isn't so great, but the inside is so stunning. She has so much different kinds of rare plants, and just anything plant related!! To pots, pillows, etc! She's super helpful too. Provides all kinds of suggestions for the care of plants, and just super knowledgeable!

Decent sized store with more selection than other plant stores. Employees are nice and the prices are pretty good, considering other stores in my area overcharge for certain "rare" plants... and they have a very good amount of "rare" plants. Would definitely come here again if I'm in the area!

Beautiful shop and a wide variety of plants! definitely recommend if you're looking for indoor planst!

Such a cute shop!! Beautifully decorated shop! When you entered you are greeted with the owner and nice calm music. Variety of plants, vases, and plant decor. The owner gave helpful tips on how to care for plants. Street parking out in front.

The variety of plants available is often impressive, ranging from vibrant houseplants to beautiful outdoor varieties. The atmosphere is usually inviting, with knowledgeable staff ready to help you choose the right plants for your space and provide care tips.

One of my new favorite go to plant shops! My rare plant collection for my Milsbo cabinet just keeps adding up. Great value and wide range of indoor plants and plant accessories to select from. Natalie is very informative and helpful when it comes to general care and questions. The stores ambience is very relaxing & unique!

Forever the best plant shop in the bay! The selection of plants never disappoints, and there is an amazing assortment of plant accessories that you can't find anywhere else! I haven't been able to find any other plant shop in the bay area that has these types of exotic plants! And the owner, Natalie is the best! She's so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about her plants! 100/10 recommend for any plant lover :)

My new favorite plant shop (I know I have many, you got to love these small plant boutiques woman-owned!). Thanks to fellow Yelpers to redirect me to there when I was in the area and decided I wanted to get some plant babies to make company to the rest of my plant fam. The first thing that you notice in this unassuming store in East San Jose is the retro look of the facade, with that retro 60s look and the baby blue. That in itself is a cool finding for me (I like that interesting 'strip mall look' from other times. As others have mentioned, the girl working in the shop is just wonderful. I was mesmerized by her obvious beauty and her great passion explaining in detail and taking her time to describe the plants she was selling, how to take care of them. The plants are all super healthy, many different ones, unique, not your usual Home Depot plants. All fairly priced, including tons of cute stickers, pots and other nice trinkets greenery related. Very recommended!

Whether you're into journaling, planning, or just want a unique gift, Maido is definitely worth stopping into. There was not much stafff around helping, I think only two people and they were both at the cash register, they weren't too talkative and didnt ask if we needed help, but im sure they would have if we asked, we just werent approached. Maybe they were short staffed that day.

The store is not big but fully packed. Very organized. We don't have too many gift store like this in the west bay . The store location is right by Vally fair mall , West San Jose . Many customers and quite popular. Parking is not easy if you come in the weekend . There are couple paid parking structures in the same area. I usually either come on the weekdays or Saturday morning to avoid the crowds.

As a fair warning, the tiny tiny gift shop is extremely limited in size. The path is extremely narrow due to objects being placed along both sides of the entire business and the space in itself is already tight. I came here a few days ago in hopes of finding a traditional tet outfit for my daughter. Although the selection seems a bit limited, the articles of clothing are clean, bright, and very easy on the eyes. A special TY to the lady behind the counter was very courteous and helpful during our search. While I was busy searching for the right design and look for the outfit my daughter couldn't help herself from grabbing a flashy spinner wand that blares out the most annoying tube. Lmao!! Go figure huh?? I decided to make that additional purchase and only asked if they had a wrapped or boxed wand since this one was clearly a sample it out. The gentleman behind the counter seemed agitated and wasn't friendly at all. A simple no would have been fine and the attitude could have totally been kept to himself. How unfortunate that the lady owner is this business's only saving grace. Not recommended if you are in any way claustrophobic or if you are expecting any kind of decent customer service. Thanks but no thanks to the non welcoming vibes!!
