Her first word was "this looks so sad" We ordered ahead of time and order was not even made and they quickly put this together on the spot and I asked if this is deluxe and the lady said it is and the only difference between standard and deluxe is size. If this size is deluxe then I am not sure how small the standard is. With all the prom season coming up, it will be better to bring your business somewhere else. read more

VERY RUDE service. Rushed my daughter into paying for the price of a corsage when she clearly said she wanted to buy a boutonniere. Has no pick up receipt for us and when asked to provide one, showed us a paper log of handwritten orders. How are we supposed to pick something up without a receipt? Lastly, rolled her eyes and said our order was only $35, insinuating that we should not make a fuss over such a small amount of money. That IS UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I rarely write reviews but felt compelled this time. I ordered multiple funeral flower arrangements from La Floriya and unfortunately, the experience was highly stressful and fell below expectations. I would not recommend this florist for special occasions due to late delivery, poor communication, and disappointing flower quality. 1) I ordered 4 flower types, including a deluxe standing spray and matching bouquet. Although the owner was very friendly when I placed the order in-store, she only wrote brief unclear notes on paper and did not include my contact information. My payment receipt also showed the total cost vs an itemized list. I was worried the owner didn't have a detailed record of my order so I texted her to recap the items (along with the funeral details). I did not get a response for multiple days. I sent a follow-up text asking for confirmation, and the message I received was "thank you." 2) Because I felt unsettled by the vague response and owner's lack of communication (I texted her another question and didn't hear back), I stopped by the store again later that week.  I wanted to make sure everything was set and also move the delivery time earlier by 15-30 min. I read a prior Yelp review for this florist where the customer's flowers arrived late for a funeral. I feared this would happen and requested an additional time buffer. The owner wasn't in the store when I stopped by, but an employee connected us on a call. She said she remembered my order and to text her the new delivery time, assuring it was no problem. 3) On the funeral day, the flowers arrived 30 min late from the updated time we agreed upon and just shortly before the service began (all attendees were already there). It was embarrassing and extremely stressful waiting without status updates. If I hadn't requested an earlier delivery time, the flowers would have arrived after the service started. 4) The worst part is I called the owner when the delivery window was missed and when we reviewed the order, she had forgotten the bouquet. She first denied I purchased the bouquet, but then realized she made a mistake.  In the end, all flowers were delivered but they were underwhelming and not the quality pictured on their website. The bouquet, in particular, looked like one hastily assembled (or a pre-made one grabbed randomly) vs a custom bouquet to match the standing spray as promised. read more

TLDR: Quality work but lack of communication and professionalism. I ordered an arrangement for my girlfriend's birthday, it was meant to be delivered that day at 8-9am but they never showed up, eventually after calling repeatedly only to have my call be dropped before ringing more than once I finally got through and was able to find out what happened to my order. Apparently the delivery driver was in an accident which is entirely understandable, the issue was that there was no update regarding that fact, we figured out another time the next day they could deliver the flowers and I figured that was that. Except instead of delivering them at the agreed upon time they sent them by uber delivery 4 hours before my girlfriend would be back at her apartment from work. That said she loved the flowers and thought they were beautiful. Nonetheless given the price they cost I would expect more professionalism and better communication. read more

We hired this florist for my father's memorial service. Unfortunately, the experience was stressful and disappointing. Alex, was pleasant and friendly when we were placing the order, and we were genuinely happy to give him our business. His mother was lovely as well. That made the issues surrounding the event even more disappointing. First off, the flowers were delivered in two trips, and the final spray was LATE, arriving only about 15 minutes before the ceremony was to begin. My mother was pacing the floor wondering where the flowers were. Flowers and ribbon signs were then set up while half of the guests were already seated. The ribbons looked strange and hastily put together (more like horizontal signs at the top of each arrangement), and not vertical flowing ribbons as we were shown in pictures. We asked Alex to remove them. After the event, we did not ask for money back. But we wanted to share feedback so these issues could be avoided in the future. Unfortunately, Alex immediately became defensive and focused on shifting blame to funeral home and us, rather than acknowledging the concerns or taking responsibility. Definitely awful customer relations. In the end he did apologize, but his immediate reaction of gaslighting us was hard to ignore. For important events like memorials, professionalism and accountability matter just as much as the flowers. read more
