Our scheduled appointment was postponed by this company the day of the appointment. When it was…read morerescheduled, the technician showed up without necessary tools, and borrowed my vacuum, swabs, etc. At completion, we were Up charged $75 with no conversation or warning. Technician Daniel used glue on my Queen Anne Baby Grand without my knowledge or permission. Piano began losing its tuning within 2 months. When I reached out for a solution, Well -Loved Piano was very quick to offer excuses but not customer service. I itemized the infractions above and Michael and Danette came out the next morning. I let them know in writing that they would be greeted with coffee, kindness, a good attitude and the intention of us all walking away happy. After the re-tuning, Danette had what can only be described as an extremely unprofessional, unstable, crying, ranting episode. I understand being defensive when faced with personal or professional shortcomings. But, Danette made me very uncomfortable in my own home, having to contend with both substandard services as well as her erratic behavior.

The quaint theatre boasts beautiful stained glass windows and comfy seats and the cozy community theatre vibe where no seat in the house is a bad one. We were on the front row center this time and loved it! The actors in this production were spot on and I loved the OCT adaption of the book/movie. The comedic moments had us laughing, but the serious moments were quite powerful in this intimate setting, and even though I knew the story, found myself leaning towards the stage waiting to see what was next! Visit the website for upcoming plays and patronize this precious hometown gem, you won't be disappointed! There is local artwork for sale in the lobby and light refreshments offered as well for reasonable prices. For every play I've attended at least part of the cast is mingling with the patrons following the play and I just adore that! So fun to chat with them and share your thoughts about that night's production. I can't wait to go back soon...seriously - check it out! I usually go in the morning, so not a lot of people there. I've been to many YMCA in Charlotte and this is one of my favorites. In the morning, it's an older crowd. Which is great for me I'm not looking for a show stopping crowd. I go to the gym to work out and for my health not for a runway show so if that's what you're looking for this is the YMCA for you. This YMCA also provides workout classes as well that you can choose from that's included with your membership. There's also a swimming pool and a locker room where you can shower after each workout. There's a basketball court and also childcare area, but I'm not sure how that works. There is also lots of parking.

The indoor pool at the McCrorey Branch was fantastic, a nice respite on a very rainy day. The lifeguard and entire staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. Everything was clean, from the front lobby, locker room, to the pool. I highly recommend the McCrorey YMCA for everyone.

My swim class.started off with a reschedule but everything came together after that with a patient coach, adult and encouraging class then the customary push to join the Y. I'm like I'm just here for swim classes. But the atmosphere is enveloping. It reminds me of home or a specific community center feel. There are programs for teens and on the CMS no school days. ok. I don't care for the process of how swim classes don't really progress or have a checklist of what you will have accomplished by the end and if you don't then you don't progress on that part. From the time the class started...it went downhill. As soon as the class started.... she singled me out of about 20 women...(mind you) in the water I was doing the exercise wrong. There was no greeting me....at all. This was my 1st class with her. She went straight to making me feel like I was being singled out...out of all the women (which may have been her regulars). Every sec she got...she was telling me I was doing exercise wrong out of ALL the other 10-15 women in the pool. I thought maybe it is just me but when 2 other ladies noticed it.....no not just me. I was blatantly being singled out in the water aerobics class...once again I have to say....it was alot of other women in the pool. I finally had to ask her not to say anything else to me and I left class. For Anyone going to any class etc..it's the instructors job in my opinion to make the person feel Welcomed! Regina the water instructor did not do that. This is not the YMCA Christian way. This has been my 4th or so week going to this gym and it was good until this last time.
