My last appointment was in March, but I received a bill stating I had not paid my $40 co-pay in March. I called billing disputing the billing. As they requested, I sent a screenshot of my bank account showing the co-pay for both appointments. They never responded. I received a letter advising I have a debtors warrant filled against me. I have called billing repeatedly, requested the supervisor to call me and now they will not take my calls. If I need to go to court over this, I will expect compensation as i have proof of payments. If I were the doctors, I would have a complete audit performed on your billing department because I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been double billed. It's too bad. I liked the doctor and staff but will now need to find another office.

Just spent 45 minutes trying to make another appointment I was #2 in the Q until I was not and could go on line and make an appointment. My bet is the physicians think all runs smoothly but it is not and they never see the evals. I brought my husband to Achilles Foot and Ankle because it seemed like a reputable company that…read morecared about its patients, but it seems like that is not correct. The podiatrist we saw was great. They took X-rays of his feet and the doc talked us into a custom orthotic called "the gauntlet". He has a fracture in his foot and this was described as the best option for his foot. The only other option described was surgical fusion of the bones in his foot and ankle, with one year being out of work. The brace was described as being thin, carbon fiber and lightweight, where it would fit in his shoes without issue and would just keep his ankle from moving and his foot from rolling due to flat feet. I had to pay $800 up front for the brace to be ordered and it took from his initial appointment on 4/30 until today (6/8) for it to come in. We were excited and hopeful, until we saw the brace. The brace that was described as thin and lightweight didn't even fit inside his shoe. His foot moved a ridiculous amount inside the brace and in several spots did not even touch the brace. The tech who was initially putting the brace on even said that it didn't appear to support the foot/ankle at all, and she was right. The second tech came in and put his sock on with the brace over it, then tried to force the brace down into his shoe, causing the part of the shoe around the back of the foot to become misshaped and tired the shoe like it would do something. The physicians assistant finally came in and basically said they could take more measurements and send it back to the manufacturer and they could modify it and it might make improvements. When we asked for a refund, there PA said that they could refund it but she had to get the person from the front desk to complete the refund. Then the "owner" of the business came in and said they will not refund any custom orthotics. He has a masters degree in business but no knowledge of podiatry, orthotics or anything else. He is simply a money man. He showed us a document that my husband electronically signed before he ever saw anyone that states "Custom orthotics are tailored to meet individual needs; custom items such as orthotics or custom braces are non-returnable, non-refundable." This was not reviewed at the time the brace was ordered, only prior to checking in to see anyone. He also refused to let us see the podiatrist that sold us the brace. When the PA came back in again to re-measure his foot for the brace they ordered that did not work, she informed us that it would be a $50 Copay for each and every visit, even if the measurements they took this time didn't work either. At this point, we cut our losses and left the office. Please don't make the same mistake we made. Get a second opinion and stay away from this business. It should have told us a lot when there are no pictures in the rooms and there cabinet is a tool box to hold supplies.

Their staff is warm, friendly, and wonderful. We joked, laughed, and I instantly felt welcome. Dr. Narang was kind, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. I had a horrible time with their new system on the kiosk check ins, and they explained today was their second day using them. It has not been a smooth transition by a long shot. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour not knowing I had to go to pay a co pay first. Needless to say, when I finally got in the back, Dr. Baldwin and his assistant were awesome and apologetic of the wait which I appreciated. He treated me for plantar fascitis with x-rays, exam of my foot and then gave me arch supports for my shoes and a splint for my foot to sleep in or rest in while watching tv to keep my foot at a 90 degree angle. By late January they still had not come in so I called the office and was told they were delayed due to the holidays (Xmas). Fast forward another couple of weeks and I receive a bill in the mail for $400 for the orthotics that were supposed to be covered by insurance (and that I had still not received). When I called the office to enquire about it they were less than no help explaining why I was receiving this bill. They said insurance had denied the claim and that I was responsible for the bill. I called my insurance company and they told me the podiatrist's office had submitted an incorrect insurance code and they just needed to fix that and they will be covered. I called the office to let them know and was then told that my orthotics had never even got ordered in the first place! So that explains the two-month delay in receiving the orthotic inserts but certainly doesn't explain why I then received a $400 bill from them. I'd look elsewhere for treatment.
