Lots of firsts, but for me the last time I would come here. I was recommended this place for a…read morefacial, but I had serious tension to work on so a massage was necessary. I found the receptionist upbeat and professional. The questions filled out seemed like a waste of time because it did not change the focus of the massage or areas I didn't care for. The massage had some relaxing moments, but I left with the same tension I came in to fix. Very little time on shoulders and more time on legs than requested. In the end a warm towel was placed on the counter for me to use once the massage ended. That's a first. It's very common to wipe lotion or oils off back to not stain clothing etc. I felt a lack of personalized service. I was tempted to end a few mins early, but the curosity kept me there. The carpet was also very dirty. It felt like it had not been cleaned in a long time. I did not like being barefoot in that room.

After my session, I felt like the session went really fast. I asked the Massage Therapist if it was a 90 minute massage and she then told me I was only scheduled for a hour why would I get a 90 minute gift card from my coworkers at the salon and spa that I work at and only schedule an hour I always get 90 minute massages no matter where I go. I called back up to get a half hour massage and they told me they don't offer half hour massages so then I had to come out of pocket to pay the remaining balance due on an hour which quietly I don't think that was fair. They were nice enough to give me the initial first Massage rate. But when I got the hour massage, the second one the Massage Therapist I noticed had long nails. I don't know if they were fake or real, but by Maryland state law you're not supposed to have your nails over certain length and they need to be manicured. Having long nails doing massages can cause harm to the client by scratching them and causing you to maybe even bleed. The woman that did my did not work on my neck whatsoever or touch my hands and feet. I would not recommend hand whatsoever. Thank you for letting me comment on my experience, sincerely licensed Massage Therapist Sonya Davis

I had a lash lift and tint as well as my brows done - which is saying a lot because I haven't trusted my brows to ANYONE in my 40 year old life. I hacked them up when I was a 90s kid and have been afraid to have someone thin them out too much ever since! Melissa (?) did a great job. The brow lines looked amazing and so natural, it truly was my brows but better. I intend to go see her again for brows when it's time for another lash service. The lashes turned out great, by the way. I highly recommend getting a lash lift and tint if you're looking to make your eyes pop without the irritation of lash extensions. I had been doing extensions for wedding season and loved the look but needed a break. Melissa revived my lashes and now I don't feel like I even need mascara anymore! Very happy with my results.

I always feel like I am a bother and it is awkward for me. I've been here many times and have always been satisfied with my services, but the desk. How can such a beautiful salon employ such unhappy front desk receptionists? Example of conversation: Walked in "I'd like to make an appointment for such and such service" "Ok when?" Me: "Does (stylist) have an opening on x day?" "Only until 1pm" Me: "Ok, I'd like to schedule, I can come in the morning" "Ok what time?" Me: "Whatever she has open, let's try x?" "Yes she can do that" Me: "Ok, thanks" :( My suggestion: Offer a few times up until 1pm. Example: "She has 10, 11, or 12. Do any of these times work for you?" I am the customer. Not angry, just offering a suggestion. It keeps me from coming in more often. Thank you,
