Everything you need is in walking distance and this location is just one hundred percent!

There is so much going on at Aksarben with all of the recent additions which makes living here fun and convenient. I love that it's a busy enough area but it feels safe. Everyone working here is super responsive and I haven't had any issues so far at all. I love the apartment itself they are clean, look nice, the bedrooms and closets are huge- overall just really nice apartments! I also love all of the amenities. There are two gyms which is super convenient. There are also two pools that are so fun to hangout by on a warm day. The community is friendly and fairly quiet. I've never had noise issues with any neighbors which can't always be said about apartments! Overall, I highly recommend looking into broadmoor if you're looking for a new place to live!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. At first, I loved this place, it was spacious and…read morefairly affordable. I got a 1bd 1 bath apartment at $695 rent per month (not including amenities or electricity, etc). However, at the very end of my lease is when I experienced the most unprofessional and hard-to-reach company I have ever heard of. I inquired about possibly ending my lease 9 months early because I got a job in a different city and could move in with my partner. I was told that if I did want to end my lease early, I had to give a 60-day notice, but I did not have to give one otherwise. Usually, apartments will only require a 30-day notice, so this is just another way they get as much money as they can. Ultimately, I decided not to and added another individual on my lease who finished it. Now, jump to a few months ago. I had called multiple times the week before rent was due, inquiring about exactly how much I would owe, that way I could submit exactly what I needed to. Rent is due on the first of the month, and never got ahold of someone until the 15th! That is when they informed me that I still had to give a 60-day notice regardless, so I would have to continue paying for another two months, even after I had vacated the apartment, and that the rent would now be $965!!! FOR A VACATED APARTMENT I WAS NO LONGER LIVING AT AND PASSED MY AGREED UPON END OF LEASE DATE. Also when I went online, there was never an option for me to officially end my lease, they only gave me options to continue at the same rate. So I have to pay nearly 2 grand because someone else from their office told me the wrong information. I have called and emailed incessantly trying to get answers and they eventually stopped reaching out to me and have not answered any emails. In one instance, I called them, just to let them know the keys were dropped off, and also asked them to please give me a callback. Not even a full minute later, they called me back. (Weird, because they had been ignoring my calls for nearly a week and wouldn't call me back). I filed a report to better business bureau. If anyone is looking, https://www.bbb.org/us/ne/omaha/profile/property-management/slosburg-company-0714-104002066 it is through the slosberg company on this link. They make it purposely hard to find and report these things, luckily I found it. Not surprisingly they have 1/5 star reviews. This place is the most unprofessional company, and they do not have 2 shits about you as a resident. It does not matter if have a perfect resident record, they will not budge for anything and do anything they can to squeeze more money out of you. While its "affordable" just go somewhere else where the staff and owners actually care. (I put air quotes around "affordable" because the exact unit I paid $695 for, they are now listed for $775... INSANE) The issue is still ongoing and not resolved in any way, and thank god I am a homeowner now and I do not have to worry about bullshit apartment complexes like this anymore.

The paper work I was given to fill out said different is small print. So now I'm out 200$ and that's more money that was needed, they refuse to give it back. Don't waist your time or money.

The office minions never…read morehave a clue what's going on and answer to an absentee manager who will reluctantly speak to you if you corner her. I lived in these apartments for nearly three years so I can say with experience do not move here…read more The only reason it was worthwhile to stay was that the apartment was roomy and the rent was cheap, can't say that's the case now considering they tried to raise my rent by 105 dollars. Don't let all their current maintenance work fool you, the apartments are still old and prone to issues. For the first two months I was in my current apartment I couldn't shower. I had to keep asking maintenance and the front desk people to fix the chipping and flaking in the bathtub, multiple times I was told they had filed for maintenance and multiple times I came back any they said there was never anything filed. Then came the multiple times my heater stopped working during winter, or the times my sink overflowed into the entire kitchen and out into the living room. They cut a hole in my kitchen wall to unclog the drain and that hole is still there now upon moving out despite literally telling the office about the issue. This last week was my final straw as they were replacing the windows in all of the units of which only two days notice was provided. I had to scramble to get everything out of the way while packing to move on top of working full time. When they finally arrived to work I had shut my cats in the bathroom to keep out of the way and I came back to the workers panicking and missed calls from the office because someone had let the cats out of the bathroom (which they denied) and they had nearly gotten out since I live on the first floor. Keep in mind there are no windows in my bathroom and no reason to enter it when completing this work. When I called the office to express my concern they were far more concerned with assuring me there had been "no other complaints" and trying to downplay what had occurred (namely the office manager Dawn). I understand this is a fairly personal review so it may not be relevant to everyone but I don't want other people to come here and have to experience the complete lack of care and greediness of this apartment complex.
