During this time, I was dealing with significant health challenges and was not able to attend every class. She kindly offered makeup sessions, which I deeply appreciated. The dog monitors just sit on their phone all day, not monitoring the dogs, and only lift a finger once dogs start physically fighting, and then its right back to their phones. Again, beautiful facility, head guy at the front desk was great too. This place has potential, just needs to hire employees who at least act like they care and actually monitor the dogs.

From the initial consult with Kenzie, we felt very comfortable with how she approached training and her experience. When Charlie came back after 4 weeks, it was such a big change! No longer did we have to worry about leash pulling, picking up trash on walks, and being overcome with excitement whenever guests would visit. We can now enjoy our dog all of the time. We take her on long walks, she joins us at restaurants and events around the neighborhood, and overall is a much better behaved dog without losing her personality. Controlled K9 came to our home to evaluate her and recommended a four week board and train to work on basic obedience, leash manners, and off leash recall. We loved that she was taken in as a member of the family during her "boarding school," and they provided regular photos and updates on her progress throughout. We took the same class this Fall with our two newly adopted dogs and we learned a lot and were able to teach basic commands and modify behavior in our 2 rescues. Kevin can help you with barking and other behaviors that you would like to change in your dog. He watches and corrects you if you are ding something not quite right to improve your dog training skills. We had not so good experiences with other groomers in the area with them retaining the teddy bear look of our pup. We read raving reviews about Jesica's work at this grooming salon and decided to take a shot. I'm so glad we did cause she did a fantastic job! Our pup had some matting in her tail and ears and other places but she managed to keep the teddy bear look and tail length while taking off all the matting! She also accessorized our pup making her look so cute!!We will only bring our pup here as long as Jesica is still here!

The grooming was disappointing, especially for $81 (even with the new customer special). I chose…read morethe Dry Shampoo option because I didn't want to stress my cat out more than necessary with a water shampoo for a first-time groom. I don't even know if they did the dry shampoo - cat doesn't smell different. I specifically asked for the paw fur to be trimmed cleanly, but that wasn't done properly. The overall haircut was uneven and chunky, and the hair on the back end was still too long. While they did leave the tail bushy as requested, I had asked for a slight trim to shape it, which wasn't done. Additionally, the ears didn't appear to be fully cleaned--there was still visible wax in the outer ear. Overall, the results were something I could have achieved at home and done better. The experience at check-in was also frustrating. There was a long line at 8am with only one staff member present until about 8:30. I was told only one person handles cat grooming, and they were running late. Considering I got a call at 10:30 my cat was ready - it doesn't surprise me it was faster than expected given the quality. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

We've taken the dogs here a few times since moving to Falls Church last May for bath/grooming…read moreservices. We've never used daycare or boarding service here. Typically the service has been fine but we've had misunderstandings in the past as well as recent issue. I feel there's not always a clear understanding of the pricing. We've taken our 38lb doodle in the past which to us qualifies her as a medium size dog. We've ended up paying more for her without being told why up front. Don't advertise your prices by size of dog if you aren't going to charge that way. Additionally we just got our small 5lb dog a bath and trim which is face and Fanny (usually is feet face and Fanny at any other groomer). The photo I showed the groomer isn't what I ended up getting. His face was uneven. I called and they told me to bring him in the next day and they would fix it. When I arrived, the head groomer came out and said he'd fix it. 10-15 mins later he comes back, hands me the dog and says "You got a bath and trim not a full hair cut but I fixed it". I was taken back. 1) I obviously know the service I requested 2) the original groomer didn't give me what I asked for with the trim. 3) our dogs hair was unevenly cut which was validated by the woman at the front desk 4) it was just rude. We were talking about our dog's face hair only. Not his body which would have been a full haircut. His comment was just completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Customer service is important, or it should be. We like supporting small, local businesses but when people are rude like this it makes it difficult to want to do so. We've gotten better grooming from PetCo which is sad.
