Our New Home: Beech Pointe Apartments My wife and I just…read moremoved into Beech Pointe Apartments on the first of the month, and right away, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received from our neighbors. In just one week, we talked to more people than we had in three years at our old place! The community here is incredibly friendly and diverse, which we absolutely love. Our first impression of the apartment was fantastic. I'm quite observant, so it was clear that whoever repainted the walls and ceiling did an exemplary job. The carpets and appliances were clean, there were no funky smells, and nothing was broken or missing. We were also pleasantly surprised to find nice-sized 4x4x12 storage units in the basement garage for residents to use and a beautiful pond with wildlife in the back, complete with a walk/bike path. The location is perfect! Jewel Osco, Tony's, and Valli Produce supermarkets are right down the street, and the Meineke Recreation Center, where we can do all our fitness activities, is less than half a mile away. We've already added a couple of great restaurants to our list, thanks to Sherri, one of the apartment managers, who recommended them to us. Speaking of staff, Sherri and Elli, who run the office, are fantastic. They are so down-to-earth and all-around nice people who made my wife and I feel very welcome. We also met a couple of members of the maintenance staff, Brian and Jason. Both are very friendly guys and were just in our apartment the other day taking care of two problems: the beginnings of a small hornet's nest outside our bedroom window and a faulty gas burner. They were very professional and came out right away. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our decision to move to Beech Pointe Apartments. The community, the staff, the amenities, and the location have all exceeded our expectations. I have a feeling this is just the first of many positive reviews I'll be writing in the future.

The apartments are old so not everything would be perfect, perfect so when you move in make sure you note everything down with regards to the condition. I see people not getting a return on their deposits & complaining here though I know 4-5 tenants who lived and moved out & had no complaints. You cannot get a better price & service on an apartment at the heart of Schaumburg downtown. We loved the time we were there. Excellent Staff & support. Only good things to say for the staff and apartment building. Sherry is the Best & if anything get broken or needs service they are quick to get it fixed ! If I ever rent again in Chicago Burbs, this will be the first location I will look for an apartment.

They made it clear they would take care of it. WELL. They lied. I had to move out because of the mold build up in the unit, causing me to become sick, simply from leaking water and mold building up under the carpet. I mentioned it to Leslie(management), while maintenance said there was not much they can do. I put in multiple request and nothing was done. I eventually was tired of it and reached out to the district manager, Michelle, and agreed to let me out of my lease, with no penalties due to there mess up. Here we are 3 years later and they have tacked a huge bill onto my credit. My experience with this was the worse. Save the trouble of moving into this complex, because they will only give you hell later.

Honest review alert: NEVER LIVE HERE…read more You will going to encounter all of these below: - Noisy neighbors partying like there is no tomorrow blasting music till the morning - Cigarette smoking smell down the hallway that comes into the unit (I had to seal the door to keep the smell off LOL) - There is "no smoking" policy but staff doesn't seem to care, just one "warning" and that's all. - Toilet tank sweats due to condensation - Police comes in frequently after neighbors yelling at each other (God knows what's happening with them) - Molds, oh yes A LOT of molds you will find If you still want to live regardless of all of the above, go ahead!

There are absolutely NO amenities, no parking, nothing!! You have to pay extra to park, and there is no guest parking or overnight parking. If you park on the street, you will have get a parking ticket ($35) a pop. If you complain about the parking, they'll tell you to park at the train station and walk 2 blocks in the winter or with groceries. LOL- a complete joke! If you get a garage spot, be prepared to pay $150 extra a month. Chris, the maintenance guy I gushed about previously, was gone. In one year, I saw 2-3 different property managers and several maintenance people. There is no-one on site ever, so if you have an emergency, good luck getting a hold of a live person. No-one ever answers their phone. Everything is new and looks nice, but the material is cheap and breaks easily. also, things are not installed properly and break all the time. No elevators, steep back stairs that are dangerous and absolutely no parking for residents or visitors unless you pay extra. ZERO STARS!!!!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!!

Hello All, I would…read morefirst like to say that my wife and I have lived at this complex though 2 regime changes. The first property manager was Denise, a devil may care type of person with no concern for the tenants on the property. An example would be an infestation of house flies that ranged anywhere from 30-40 daily - Nothing was done. Currently, the property manager is Mary and the maintenance manager Chris. Both seemed like a breath of fresh air, after having to deal with the blatant disregard and incompetence of Denise. However, after numerous interactions with the both of them, there has been nothing but unpleasantness. No matter what you try to do to accommodate their agendas, it ultimately ends with the fault being placed on the tenant. My wife and I are also in the process of moving out which has been a long time coming. When we first brought this to Mary's attention she wished us well and told us that since we have been renters for over 3 years, paid our rent on time, and have never had any issues regarding our tenancy that she would provide a glowing recommendation on our behalf - FALSE! I received a call from the complex that we have decided to move into. She stated that Mary told her that we had multiple parking violations (first come first serve parking - no designated spots) and that we had painted without permission (had received permission from both Denise and Mary). This came as a shock, especially with what she had told us before. Chris was also very helpful before we decided to move out. He fixed items that needed repair and replaced anything that could not be repaired. Now, since we have given our notice, he is rude and passive-aggressive. This is a sign that both Chris and Mary are too immature to understand that their complex is entry-level and that people are not planning on spending the rest of their lives there. Yes, this complex does offer washer/dryer, fireplace, and spacious balcony but there are NO amenities and NO freedom to personalize your space. Please be weary when looking to rent from this complex.
