I was googling second hand stores and came across this store. We live in Phoenix and went to Nevada for vacation but decided to stop by on our way back home to Phoenix. We definitely were not disappointed! The prices are very affordable and there is so much in the store that could be used in all rooms of your house. I walked out with a box of kitchen stuff and very pleased with what I bought and the entire price!! I would have bought more if I had room in the car. However, I will drive back to this store to buy more stuff. The customer service was excellent and for the affordable prices you couldn't ask for anything else. No matter the location of where you live I highly recommend this store to everyone! read more

We needed a service to help us after our 93year old mother was downsizing her household items, including furniture as she was moving into a smaller place. I contacted The Pony 2nd Hand Store and Peter and his crew came out the next day. Peter was very caring as I showed him my mom's possessions. It took them 2 days to pack up her items and take them away. I had contacted an auction company prior to calling Peter, and that experience proved very disappointing. I was happy to work with Peter. Moving was a very emotional time for my mom and myself. My mom was equally happy of the time and compassion Peter took with her possessions. read more

I was in the market for a used stove and started looking through ads on Craigslist. I spotted one that looked promising but it was up in Wickenburg. Since it was at an actual store versus a private party I decided to drive on up and take a look. I'm glad that I did. Peter was super helpful and after looking around the store I ended up purchasing the stove from the ad. I also picked up a couch and a fantastic hardcover book to add to my collection. I didn't have my truck so I made arrangements to come back in a couple of days. When I made it back up, Peter helped me load everything up and couldn't have been nicer. He also gave me a great recommendation for a place to grab some lunch! The store isn't your usual junk shop and they have a lot of stuff you can use in your daily life, not just collectibles and things to catch dust. Their prices really impressed me too. Everything was reasonably priced especially when compared to prices in the valley. I told Peter I would be back and will keep an eye out for future ads. read more

Not too impressed. Pretty expensive stuff. Small selection and an apathetic attitude towards helping. I wondered around for a few minutes looking for an end table. The person working finally asked if I needed any help and was told "that's it". Well, okay. I probably won't be back. read more

We know that the Pony is the place to go when we are looking for used appliances. Found a used refrigerator and really appreciated the free delivery and set up. Also was prompt for the time frame we needed. Plan on making it a stop for other items we need to set up our residence. read more

I purchased a used dryer which was fine for a few days and then it began to trip the circuit breaker as soon as it was started. I stopped in and told Peter about it and he couldn't have been more helpful. He asked if I wanted to try another machine and we found one that was identical to the original which was good because I was very satisfied with it other than the problem. He delivered it and picked up the non-working one. It was apparent he was determined to see that I was happy. Good customer relations is the backbone of any business and I definitely found it here. Check out their store for your second hand needs, I don't think you can go wrong. After posting I see someone decided I am from San Francisco, California when in fact I live in Wickenburg, Arizona so the Pony is a local store. read more

We visit this store on a regular basis and always find something interesting that we cannot leave without. It is the neatest and cleanest little store of it's kind we have been in. It is easy to spend an hour just browsing around here. Don't leave Wickenburg until you check this store out. read more
