Posh Posey was by far our favorite vendor we worked with at our wedding. From the initial consultation to the day of the wedding, Macy was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, down to Earth and easy to communicate with. I had reached out to several other florists when beginning my search and she was the only one who took the time to listen to our vision and show a willingness to work with our budget to ensure that vision came true. I wanted a floral garland as my altar decoration and she went above and beyond to bring it to life--even staying through cocktail hour to repurpose this garland as reception decoration. Macy creates a design board for you to access based on your input/Pinterest board/pictures and you can see each of the different flowers that will be in season & available for your big day and what you have ordered (bouquets, centerpieces, corsages, other decor, etc.) One of my bridesmaids has already reached out to book Macy for her own wedding this October because she's amazing--I truly can't say enough positive things about our experience with her. The Posh Posey is AMAZING! They did all the florals for our wedding this past September and they were more gorgeous than I could imagine. I was lucky enough to work wit Kristi on our floral designs, and when we met I just had photos of some things I liked, but had a hard time articulating exactly what I had in mind. Well she was able to take those ideas and create something more beautiful than I had in mind. The whole process was stress free and super easy! This is a followup to Laura Q's review since unfortunately I am unable to reply: You were "Not able to be in constant communication"?  How about ANY communication at all? We checked the calendar. Turns out Laura was being nice here. Our consultation was Jan 7th. We heard LITERALLY NOTHING from you till Feb 1 (25 days later!) when Laura reached out to YOU and you finally revealed to us you had "health problems." You're allowed to be sick, but I find it mind-boggling there was not 5 minutes in the 25 days you ghosted us that you couldn't send a 1-line email that explained the situation or gave us an update. All that aside - Monday Feb 1 rolled around when Laura reached out to you wondering where you were and if you had forgotten about us. That night was the very first we knew you had been ill, Laura was very understanding and told you we were ready to move forward when you were able. At that point you told us our proposal was coming and I quote: "I should have it to you by tomorrow!" Three days went by without a word. Friday Feb 5th: (4 days later) I'll paraphrase "Oh ya i gave your date away this morning there was nothing i could do."  Complete horseshit. 30 days after initial consultation. No contract. No communication. No florist once again. We turned down numerous florists during this colossal waste of time, all because we had agreed to work with you and were waiting patiently for a contract you apparently had no intention of ever starting. Your work is beautiful, but your business skills are apalling. I was formerly a one-man small business owner as well. Let me tell you, I'd have been out of business if I treated my clients like you treated us - and I'd have deserved it. Totally unprofessional. Attempting to work with the Posh Posey was definitely an "unfortunate situation." Would highly recommend anyone looking for a florist to look elsewhere. Save the headache and the heartache. You'll get your hopes up then get burned. read more

I just wanted to reach out to let you know about our experience with Macy at the Posh Posey. She has been really difficult to reach for the past two months. We finally connected over FB chat and she let us know that our date was available and gave us a consultation. She said that she was going to work with a farm to get us pumpkins, make us a Pinterest board, and also send us a list of vendors for our other wedding needs. Our phone call was amazing and we were really excited to get our proposal the following week! Then three weeks went by with nothing....I emailed her last Thursday and no response....I reached out to her on Monday on FB and she said we would get our proposal this week. Today she sent me an email to say she gave away our date. She said because she was sick the last two weeks she couldn't honor our date due to being under contract with a spring wedding that changed their date to ours just TODAY. She then told us if we had been able to sign a contract during the time she ghosted us, she would have honored it, but now there was nothing she could do and her business decisions were out of her own control. We have not received any of the help she offered-vendors list, Pinterest, pumpkin farm connection, nothing. I let her know that this could have easily been resolved if there was communication within the last 3 weeks and if she had plans to still help us with our requests i.e. pumpkins, Pinterest board, referral to other florists. I would have really appreciated a phone call to let us know that this wasn't going to work out. I had to call her and then she put me on hold for three hours. Just really crummy all around! In response to the comment below: That's right. Normally florists do not overpromise resources they will provide. I did not have an expectation for a pinterest board or connections to other service providers. This is an expectation that you created. This was a very fair assessment of the services you provided. I had to request that you make amends after you told me you booked my date via email and then did not respond to my phone call. I couldn't even leave a voicemail due to your full voicemail box. I didn't even know you were sick for three weeks and had to reach out via email and fb to hear from you and then hear your lame excuse (Once again you are running a business. Communicate with your customer, "Hey just to let you know I am sick and haven't been able to work on your proposal like I promised three weeks ago."). You should have been the one reaching out to me to apologize. I should not have had to be the one helping you to maintain your professionalism to have an actual conversation about what went down. Our phone conversation made it worse. You had many excuses, but very little remorse. You even blamed other customers that ghost you and rationalized ghosting your clients. I had to specially request two times to receive your vendor lists you promised twice. And yes-I too have receipts and am happy to share with anyone who needs more information about The Posh Posey. read more

Kristi is an absolute doll and a freaking saint! She came recommended by my wedding venue and I am beyond thankful that she was available for our date. She had spent HOURS on the phone with me going over my Pinterest board and making sure we captured everything I had ever wanted and making sure she truly understood my vision. She really listened about what my budget was and did not go over! She had made amazing pieces that got to be used in my ceremony and then in my reception and they looked like a whole new design! I don't think I was an easy client as I had changed my vision a few times, but my goodness, Kristi ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT!!! I was so excited and anxious as I was getting ready for the day and when she walked in with my flowers, I started to cry because it had hit me, everything was so perfect!! The Posh Posey has the most beautiful and romantic designs! They are the BEST! Kristi is a true professional and really captured the look I was going for. I met her at the vendor fair at The Forest House Lodge - her table captured my eye! I emailed her shortly after, she was very quick to respond and easy to work with. I live in San Jose but it was very easy to arrange everything for our wedding in Foresthill. I sent her my Pinterest board and she handled the rest - everything came out even better than I imagined. I had her do my bouquet, the toss bouquet, my bridal party's flower crowns, boutonnieres, mothers' corsages, FG petals, and the sweetheart table center piece. I received so many compliments on everything she created. I did not order enough for delivery, but it was very easy to send my friends to pick them up the day of, Kristi provided detailed instructions on how to transport and care for the flowers. I chose Kristi after extensive research because her reviews were great and her pictures showed a willingness to be creative/non-traditional while still demanding flawless execution. I found this florist right here on yelp and decided to check her out because I didn't want to have to pay for a store front and I thought her logo was cute. Kristi was completely professional, gave me personalized attention and helped me figure out just what I wanted. Kristi runs The Posh Posey with willingness, creativity, and such professional attention to detail. She was so attentive to me on all phone conversations, and did such a wonderful storyboard based on those conversations and she just did an amazing job of realizing and fulfilling my ideas. She created the most amazing bouquets that all my bridesmaids just loved. And I loved my bouquet as well. The wedding arch garland and the flowers for the aisle were so amazing and she was willing to work with our budget and came up with creative solutions that did not take away from the floral arrangements. One idea was to take the flowers for the aisle and use them as centerpieces during the reception. Wow. Where do I even begin when it comes to Kristi? She is so unbelievably amazing at what she does and it shows in every touch. Hey eye for beauty in flowers and décor is undeniable, and my day was all the more special because she was a part of it. Meeting with her throughout the entire process was a joy and she was so helpful with creative aspects and what flowers would really work with the season and theme of our wedding. Her knowledge in this field is unparalleled. When I walked into our dining room at the venue, up at the ceremony site and received the bouquets, I was speechless at what she had created for me. When my budget was an issue, she worked with my husband and I for hours to get to what we desired and needed, and kept us somewhere we were comfortable with budget-wise. We told the florist weeks ago that we had a budget of $600, and she said she could make that work. After our conference call where we discussed ideas we had for my wedding, she made an idea board and days later she gave us a total quote for everything of $1000, ignoring our budget entirely. So, again, we have to remind her that we are on a budget of $600. Days later, we get a quote for over $800. Clearly, she is not listening or being sensitive to the fact that we have a budget. So we tell her we will go to her for my bouquet and the groom's boutonnière, but she says no, she has "a minimum of $600"! Huh...that would have been wonderful to know 3 weeks ago when we first told her what our budget was! So now we are set back in finding another florist, when she should have been up front about her prices in guiding us to what we would be able to afford through her services. She handled this absolutely UNPROFESSIONALLY. I am extremely upset and offended that she wasted so much of my time as my wedding approaches. Thanks for absolutely nothing, wasting my time, and causing that much more stress for my wedding as we scramble to find another florist that isn't shady when it comes to helping clients with a budget. read more
