We took our dogs here for the first time recently. We've been to a few groomers and this is our favorite for sure. We felt like they care about our dogs and that they were in the best hands. We brought our puppy that has never been groomed before and she was being quite difficult, so they suggested we bring her back in a few days later so she can get more used to the setting and the clippers etc., and we really appreciated the thoughtful way they handled that. We have taken our dog Zoey for grooming for a few years. This last year we have had a number of issues. Biggest one is (apparently) shampoo or other chemical in her eyes. This time has been the worse. Both eyes flame red, watering and she prefers to lay with her eyes closed. She can see when she walks, but who knows how well! We have put drops in her eyes which has helped. Last two times it took a couple days for Zoey to stop rubbing her eyes. That was one eye each time. This time it's both. We will be at our vet if this is not continually improving the next 24 hours. One time is an oops, multiple times is incompetence. We will not be returning to Posh Pets grooming any longer. We will be at our vets on Monday to insure Zoey is OK. Absolutely no longer recommend this groomer! read more

My new favorite groomer! Very friendly and personable. You can tell they love their four legged clients. My poodle was pretty shaggy looking. He is so handsome now. Both of their cuts are beautiful and they are so soft. She did an awesome job! They take care of everything with a full pamper session (bath, cut, nails, anal glands, ears). Wow! So impressed and relieved to not have to worry about those. I also noticed that they have two self service bath tubs if you want to bath your dogs there. I will have to make sure I plan it around when my daughter is occupied. No one under 18 yrs old in the self service area. We will be back! read more

We have been taking our Old English Sheepdog Gus here since he was a puppy. They have been nothing but friendly and kind to our sweet boy. The last time we went our Gus had bad matting around his face from wearing a cone after surgery and they gave him a perfect haircut while being careful to still keep an adorable fuzzy face. They even found a tick on him and called us right away to make sure we were aware and removed it. We love this place so much! We will never go anywhere else! This morning, my wife pulled into the Posh Pup parking lot to bring our 4 and 1/2-month-old puppy to playgroup. When she opened to hatchback, our pup jumped out into the parking lot before my wife could put her on leash. She has never been off leash outside of our fenced yard. I took my Cockapoo and Aussiedoodle here as kind of a last minute thing... they needed trims badly, and our normal place seems to be getting more and more expensive each time we go, with everything being "extra". Plus, it was going to take a while to get into another place recommended to us. The Posh Pup was fantastic! Both of our dogs look great and the ladies at the shop were super friendly and really listened to what I wanted for my pups! I also appreciated how they didn't come back smelling all "perfumy" which really bothers my allergies! The rate was great, too! These guys are very Good with dogs however, I was very disappointed when I got my Persian show cats back:( ... They didn't even clean their eyes or brush them as requested. I was also unhappy they said they would not bath then either. I will need to find another place to get my kittens groomed. read more

This is my second time coming to posh pup which I brought my mini poodle home with a clipper burn on his stomach I tend to look at over and I made her aware of it I waited about six months and decided to bring my four month old standard poodle this was his first grooming experience was supposed to be good but Christine clipped his feet with a 40 surgical blade it caused him blade burn and he got clipper cuts his feet were bald this is the third day and they're still red and he has discomfort she cleaned out his ears so deeply that his eardrums are beat red and warm and he will not let me touch them he had been head shaking for the last three days hoping he don't get a hematoma from it I made her aware of it I was going to go back there but after being on my poodle site everybody said that should not have happened and that was over 60 people some being groomers and breeders that have a lot of experience Christine does do a great job my dog looked fantastic it brought tears to my eyes when I saw him but this is the second time to give her a try and she didn't mention anything to me when I picked him up after getting him back to the shop just five minutes away I noticed his feet when I called her to explain she said she put medication on them but she did not make me aware of what happenedSadly I'm gonna have to find a new groomer I hope anybody that gets clipper burn on their dog will write a review because you need to know when your clippers are hot and not using such short blades read more

They do such a great job on my Cavaliers! Especially Christine - she makes Geo look like a show dog. All the staff is fantastic, I can tell they care about all the dogs that come through their door. Geo started out being afraid of going, but now when the door to the back opens, he walks right back there with them! Great value, friendly staff. I brought my shepherd there and when I picked her up she looked like a million bucks. They packaged a whole bunch of services into their main bath package such as shaving the poop collectors in the paws and anal gland squeezing. Will come back again. read more
