I just feel that you should at least be polite to people that patronize your business, such as saying hello when they walk in if you're not processing a transaction. Just staring at me all creepy from behind the counter while I contemplate Slurpee choices is not cool. Also, you should probably say something to people when they do make a purchase, hello or thank you. That's pretty much just common courtesy. I don't have high expectations but they're just really unfriendly, not a good vibe in this place.

The store is always clean, brightly lit and has a lot of convenience items available in a very small store footprint. I really like the carwash at this location too - it's very good and the price is comparable to other washes in the area that do less than half the cleaning that this one does. The coffee is always fresh and they have a pretty good rotating selection of specialty brews too. The grocery prices are higher than a supermarket, but that's true at every convenience store, and honestly, they don't jack you up TOO badly. I've seen MUCH higher prices at other stores. I prefer to purchase all of my gas here, and I've never had a "favorite" gas station before until now.

Great employees make the difference…read more Let's face it, almost all of the smaller-sized,convenience store/gas stations are pretty much the same, so why does it matter if you go to this one, or one of the other 4 gas stations within a half mile? Well, for me, what matters most is the staff of the store, and this Shell branded gas/Circle K store has some of the friendliest clerks around. I stop by this station about 4 days a week, and almost alway see Robert weekday mornings. He's a nice guy, always ready with a bad pun and a heartfelt "have a good day" when I leave. During the weekends I am happy to see Jessica - truly a star of a manager, and also a really cool chick. Both of them are really good at their jobs. It takes a certain kind of person to work the long hours needed in this tiny little 24 hour store, and the fact that these two always seem to be in a good mood and smiling is amazing to me. The clean and bright convenience store is very small, but always well stocked with essentials like candy,snacks,coffee/pop/juice & water and smokes.The coffee's always fresh and their 10 self-service pumps usually have some of the lowest priced gas in the east side of Kane county coming out of them. The one small drawback - their public bathroom is a little spooky. It's one of those crappers that are separate from the main building over in the car wash enclosure. Inside, it's on the clean-ish side, but it's really weirdly lit and damp and just not really a good place to be. I'm also not 100% sure it's handicap accessible, so if that's applicable to you, keep that in mind. There's a Wendy's right next door however, and I would suggest going over there if you need to go. Lastly, when exiting this station directly, it's only possible to go south on Kirk, or west on Roosevelt (Rt. 38.) If you want to head north on Kirk, you need to do a little jog back behind the Wendy's to the next road over. Getting out to go east on Roosevelt is done much the same way, it's not impossible it just takes a little local knowledge. It's weird to review a convenience store, I know. But... when the employees are as friendly and efficient as the ones that work here I think it's nice to point that out. These places are always ragged on. I like to give kudos a lot more than I like to drag places down, for the most part at least, haha. If you happen to see Jessica while you're in here, tell her that Paul the motorcycle guy says "hi!"

I absolutely love this pharmacy. The staff is genuinely friendly, polite, and helpful. They're very…read moreknowledgeable and have answered many questions for me about medications. They are also very accommodating at getting my prescriptions if my doctors office sent it to a different pharmacy and they always get everything filled very fast. I moved a bit further from this pharmacy and started going to a different CVS and didn't like the staff nearly as much so I now go out of my way to stop by this one! As an added bonus, the store is always well stocked with basic necessities, which is very convenient.

I go there tonight to pick up a prescription that was due on the 4th and they tell me that I didn't call it in- I'm sorry, what? Come back at 2:45 pm today- still not ready. Come back at 5:05? It's closed. I said wait can't you see if they're still here? As a school personnel we do that. I get businesses have hours. But when we went inside and asked about it I was treated horribly by the two workers there after I explained my situation. The one person was about 20 year old woman dark hair dark tan skin. Called me a karen because I said I wish I would have had a notification about the time when I called earlier. My daughter was upset and cried. I strongly dislike this cvs and hope it closes.
