Home Goods is a store that has decently priced merchandise and they provide a good service to the Space Coast of Florida. One thing important worth mentioning is that the isles are very narrow in Home Goods. This severely hurts the customer experience because customers are not given adequate time to look for and to examine merchandise for purchasing. Other customers are stuck waiting for customers to move, to allow them to walk down the isles, to allow them to find an item for themselves to purchase, and it limits their ability to walk around the store all together. This means that, because this store so packed with merchandise, it actually hinders the customers ability to make purchases. So what might seem like a good idea, packing the stores with more merchandise by narrowing the isles, what was likely meant to increase sales in the store, actually does the opposite, it's decreasing sales. I also don't believe that the narrow isles are disability friendly nor are they friendly for plus size customers. Once inside Home Goods, I found that they had a great selection of gardening supplies, pets supplies, and outdoor furniture. They also sell bedding, beautiful decorative items for the home, indoor furniture, and they have a selection of decorative seasonal items (such as Easter decorations).

The shelves were overly stocked, so trying to pass by, your cart would get caught up on the things on the shelves. I heard 3 different incidents of things breaking while in the store. It is very easy to do that here. I did like that big selection of dog clothes that you don't normally see at other Homegoods locations. I purchased a Christmas sweater for my pup. Also, I liked the selection of gift baskets that were out. I purchased one that would be good to give for Christmas but to celebrate New Years.

They even have candles that crackle when they burn and definitely remind you of fall and being close to the fireplace. They have lots of little "machines and things" that seamlessly fit into your décor and introduce wonderful scents into the air. If you like the scent of a candle without the flame, try the wax pottery. They have those special "Poo-Pourri sprays" that are great for keeping things fresh (if you know what I mean). You simply spray and go and all is right with the world. If you want to set an elegant holiday table, they have these miniature tree branches that light up and can easily be incorporated into a very nice centerpiece. The possibilities are endless! They have helped 29 million people be able to afford safe shelter. In 1991 Habitat for Humanity launched the concept of the ReStore in Winnipeg, Canada. In 1992 the first Habitat for Humanity restore opened in the U.S. in Austin Texas. The ReStores accept donations from the community and home improvement stores and then resells the items to the public at a discounted price. The profit from the ReStore supports the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate. This store in Palm Bay is part of the Space Coast Habitat for Humanity. They have helped 575 families in 37 years and they are designated as a Veteran Build affiliate serving the veterans in the community. They support programs for home ownership and home preservation through zero-interest mortgages, volunteer labor, and community support. I love supporting Habitat for Humanity and stop in the thrift stores whenever I can. This store was large and clean with a mixture of new and gently used items. They had furniture, home goods, home improvement items, and more. My favorite find was a vintage Capodimonte porcelain mirror vanity with perfume bottle. If you have any home improvement projects on the horizon, I encourage you to check them out.
