    Macy's mall entrance

A nice anchor store in Melbourne Square mall This is one of the Melbourne Square mall's anchor stores located on the East end of the mall. It is a single-story building with 3 external entrances and one mall entrance. Like most major department stores it has several departments surrounding the makeup and jewelry department section in the center of the store. Various departments include men's, women's, children's, bedding, bath, shoes, etc. The floors are white marble and sections have carpeting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were looking for jewelry on this particular visit. The prices are a bit high but the quality is good and the staff was extremely nice about helping us look through the various options. We ended up buying some makeup and using a gift card that we had found years ago. It still had money on it so make sure you don't just discard them if you find one. The overall condition of the store was clean but the design was dated but is understandable due to opening in 2003. The store was open an hour before the mall so we visited this store and then continued our shopping adventure into the mall. Overall, it was a very pleasant visit thanks to the staff that helped us look for jewelry and makeup.

    Shopping at Macys with Casey

I like stopping in for cookware or men's attire. Also a great place to get a gift for that special someone. I also love that this is a dog friendly store so I always bring Casey and my Macy's card.

Broken teapot that's been on store shelf for sale at full price for at least 3+ months.

Broken merchandise in housewares. No sorting or decoration of shelves. Old stock and a never changing array of uninspiring products. Sale signs over products that are not on sale. Swill merchant ready to be put to the wayside by online and better managed retailers. UPDATE: It has been 2 months since original posting. I can confirm the same broken houseware including a tea pot remain on the self for a sucker to buy. Completely ridiculous.

I really lucked out at this location in Melbourne, FL. The fitter there knew what he was doing. Suggested great colors / patterns without even really asking me what I wanted. Just did all the work for me with no hassle. Extremely professional. Also, I got my suit tailored that day, which took about 10-15 minutes. I walked out with everything in hand. Amazing service and saved so much money! I highly recommend this location. Ask for Caton Pallone. He will hook you up!

I sat down while my son spoke with an employee and waited for his suit. While we were waiting, the key holder--not a manager, from what we were told--wearing a black polo shirt and brown pants, was walking around the store being loud and talking about how he could control the music because he had that "power." He was using his phone and appeared more interested in playing with the music than helping customers. He then saw the employee helping my son and said, "You look like John from Staying Alive," and continued making comments about the employee and the professional suit he was wearing. He then loudly said, "It's time to get jiggy with it," and appeared to press something on his phone. When it didn't work right away, someone joked that maybe he didn't work there anymore. His response was essentially, "Wanna bet? I bet I got the power to turn the music." This went on for a while. Meanwhile, we discovered that my son's suit had apparently been sitting there for two weeks without the alterations/work that was supposed to be done. So we asked, "Now what?" At that point, the same key holder in the black polo came over and took over from the other employee. He told us there was nothing he could do, but there still wasn't any real effort to resolve the situation. The entire time, he seemed to be milling around the store, making comments, playing with the music, and generally creating a very unprofessional atmosphere. And then, before we left, the key holder got into a yelling match with another customer and called the police on that customer. From what we witnessed, the customer was upset about their own issues with the store, but I personally did not see anything that seemed to warrant calling the police. So, to summarize: a store full of customer-service issues, a key holder more concerned about controlling the music and "getting jiggy with it" than helping customers, a suit that had apparently been sitting there for two weeks without the work being completed, and then the police being called when another frustrated customer became upset. Wild. And no, this wasn't a TV show, Punk'd, or some kind of hidden-camera prank. This was MW on a busy Saturday. What an experience.

The first thing I noticed was how clean, organized, and well-stocked the store was. They have a great selection across a wide variety of categories, and everything was displayed in a way that made it easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed. Sizes and products were where I expected them to be, and I didn't have to wander around searching endlessly for what I needed--which I definitely appreciate in a large sporting goods store! What really stood out during my visit, though, was the customer service. I needed some assistance finding a particular item, and I had absolutely no problem finding an employee who was willing to help. They listened to what I was looking for, answered my questions, and pointed me in exactly the right direction rather than simply giving me a vague "it's somewhere over there" response. Friendly, knowledgeable service makes such a difference. I also appreciated that I was able to shop comfortably without employees hovering or making me feel pressured. Help was available when I needed it, but I was also given the space to browse at my own pace. The store itself was bright, clean, and easy to navigate, with clearly defined departments and a nice variety of merchandise at different price points. Whether you're shopping for athletic clothing, shoes, fitness equipment, outdoor gear, or sporting goods, there is plenty to choose from. Overall, this was a very pleasant and efficient shopping experience. Good selection, excellent organization, and genuinely helpful customer service are exactly what I want when shopping at a large retailer. I walked in knowing what I needed, received help when I asked for it, and was able to get on with my day without any hassle. I'll definitely keep this Melbourne location in mind the next time I need sporting goods, workout gear, or athletic apparel.
