The…read moremovie theaters haven't been updated in years while they redid the entire bowling ally and arcade. They went from a skating ring to a go-cart area which not a lot of people enjoy. Wish it was better for the movie theater though as most of the movies that come aren't something most would like to see. I hope they will step up the game on that.

You can go online and find really good prices on tee times. You may not get the times you want, but you will get the price you are looking for. You will also get a few par 5 holes and a par 6. Con- too many people. We were all sitting for 20 minutes on the back tees and it takes at least an extra hour on this course if not an hour and a half. The greens are also really hard and the tee boxes don't have a lot of grass because the course is played so much. I guess it's a good problem to have for the golf course, but if you are looking to play a few quick holes and head back to the house... It's not going to happen. You will need at least five hours for this course. All and all its a good course and I recommend it, but I don't make special trips just to play this.

MacCallum More turned out to be a pleasant find tucked away in Chase City! We took the tour of the Hudgins House and their museum with Kat, the director and our tour guide for the day, and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. Walking around the gardens and taking pictures afterwards was also a delight. I recommend visiting this charming spot to anybody who appreciates gardens and local history!

Can't wait for family to visit from out of town to show them these beautiful gardens and museum! There are over 30 (and I did not see everything today) statues from all over the world and 18th/19th century (even a few 16/17th century) that are breathtaking! I posted some pictures to Yelp for others to see. The only negative thing I can say, wear bug spray (fountains & a lot of damp areas) due to mosquitos! But for $5 you must see this hidden gem of Chase City, you won't be disappointed!
