The original number he came up with was something like 25K (for a call about a light switch). We seemed to have reached some sort of agreement; and since I'm facilitating selling my mother's house, I got them in touch. Things seemed fine with the lesser fix of 2K. Two weeks before the house goes on the market, I text him and he tells me verbatim "I'm not fixing your electric". Pièce de ré·sis·tance, he blocks my number. 1. My mom & stepfather flew out from CA and fixed the problem in about two hours (along with a bunch of other things him and his buddy Austin left halfway finished: those took several days). 2. I don't think Roger's even a licensed electrician, and if he is, he needs to go back to school. 3. And wouldn't ya know it, he charged me $150 to do less than nothing--He pulled out wires and plates, ripped off part of my door frame for some reason, and then just left them for me to deal with. I wouldn't let this guy anywhere near my house again.

Roger was helpful and straightforward about adding a dishwasher to our kitchen. It's a completely functional fix until we're ready to do a full remodel.

We enlisted the services of Apollo Drywall & Painting to eliminate the unsightly popcorn ceilings and to fresh paint our new retirement home. Like anyone I contacted other companies and by far Apollo was the best response and price wise. We even had one that never even cared to respond and another that came and looked for the estimate and never called back. Their losses! So Apollo was a no brainer choice for us and dealing with with Russell the owner and his Office Admin. Bridget was an easy and pure joy as we pretty much communicated all long distance by texting before we finally moved in . The process took 2 weeks of excruciating detail and effort by Mike & Chris who were on our project. Their work was above and beyond what we could have expected and they were always prompt and early and left behind "the cleanest job site ever" every day as my son in law who checked in daily in our absence would attest to. When we arrived the 2nd week they worked around us to get the job done so we were able to see first hand the tremendous effort to get it ALL done perfect. They were personable and pleasant to have around which was a big help. They even helped us move some boxes around and assist with setting up our beds at their request- they also went back and tightened up loose fans as they had to move them to remove ceiling and to paint ! They were apologetic but had no need to be. In the end the home is absolutely beautiful thanks to their extra effort in the final stages of the painting. They were meticulous and told us that until we saw all and they touched up all they would not leave! They would not leave till we were 100% satisfied. Well we werent- We were 110% satisfied and happy. We met Russell and he could not have been nicer as he too was very pleased and explained how much work the job really took- a few of our ceilings were very uncooperative in leaving their home for so many years but gone they are and we couldn`t be happier. Our home looks new and happy with its face lift as are we. We are so grateful for the personality - work ethic and professionalism shown by Mike- Chris- Russell- and Bridget throughout our project and give them the most respected recommendation for anyone else looking for similar work.

If you…read morewant someone carrying dry wall into your house, scratching up and peeling paint off your walls due to carelessness, Dave is also your guy! After not showing up, he will come to your house unannounced a day or two later thinking that is okay. He will take forever to finish the job after giving you an estimate of 5-7 days. If you're lucky, it will be a month later. Or like us you will just get tired of his bullshit and tell him to come pick up his shit without finishing. Being pregnant and needing a room renovated as soon as possible was very important to myself and my fiancé. But not to Dave. He will dick you around and pretend he's gonna do this great job and he won't. He may not charge much but you get what you pay for with this guy for sure. He will tell you he will protect your carpet and he won't, his partner will not apologize or offer to fix any of the damaged walls. Basically the most unprofessional duo I've ever seen in my life. If any of this sounds like you may want to hire him go for it!

He must not measure his cuts leading to him cutting electrical boxes too big and window frames too big. The mudding job was terrible. We can see screws through the dry wall, the mudding tape is starting to peel from the seams. The list of things we had to fix or replace (including 4 light switches his drywall knife slashed) is long. Over all, it has been a really upsetting situation.
