I have worked with Deb for months now. She took a "blah" house and helped me turn it into a "WOW!…read morehouse. I have an open floor plan and every room flows perfectly one to the other. The color palette is perfectly complimentary from room to room, the furniture is perfect, the rugs look better with the wall colors and furniture than I could ever have imagined. She has a wonderful sense of color and proportion and is easy to work with. Her custom cabinet maker does quality work just takes awhile because he has so many other jobs in front of yours but certainly worth the wait. Deb designed all the built-ins for my office and closet. The result is as functional and visually appealing as it gets. I am not the easier person to work with because I lack the ability to visualize how something will look so her guidance was invaluable and I'm sure saved me many expensive shopping oops. Additionally she guided me through purchasing quality bedding in the right colors for my bedroom. She and her assistant even came to hang my pictures and arrange my decorative accent pieces including family treasures. The only drawback is she is quite busy and I usually have to wait a week for an open slot in her calendar. Since she has been doing this for thirty years I suppose that's not surprising. We love that he approaches his business as a partnership with the client, offering design, material and labor options. Ron always shares the pros/cons for an informed decision and is extremely communicative so we always knew how things were tracking. The vision was delivered, including some added scope, on the agreed timeline and price structure. So unreal! Here are some specifics on our project. We decided to replace all of the flooring, build a new kitchen island, create a focal fireplace facade and paint the entire interior. Ron knew we intended for this to be a short-term rental as well so every step along the way he made recommendations of materials that would accomplish the look we wanted to achieve and also provide the durability necessary for renters. We personally wanted to dedicate several weekends towards doing some of the improvements ourselves and Ron was amazing about embracing that and working through the schedule together. During those weekends I often found new projects that slightly expanded the scope, which Ron always accommodated. Since everything is a handshake with him, there was never a mess of change order agreements; he just adjusted his work plans and reflected the new work in the billing. Working with Ron from about 200 miles away felt like we were working with a next door neighbor. He has become our friend through this process and still holds a key to our home. In fact, we recently contacted him for a small outdoor project that he readily squeezed into his already busy schedule and we are so pleased to know that piece of our home is now up to code and build to withstand the Central Oregon elements. We had roof leaks in 4 rooms of our house. It was quite a mess. We were able to get an estimate…read moreand accurate picture of the work in a timely manner. They patched holes and skim coated whole ceiling (we had removed popcorn after leaks). Pricing was on par/slightly less in some cases with other estimates we got. He gave us the option to get our own supplies (which was cheaper) and the supplier he suggested was great to work with. They are licensed and insured and write a fair contract to keep everyone protected. Very easy to communicate and work with. Overall job took about 3 days I think, including time to let mud dry. Consisted of 2 guys who were good steady workers. They did a solid job, not perfect but solid. Looks like nothing ever happened. If you look close around the edges you can see some imperfections. Given the state our house started in, we were very content with good but not perfect. They finished staying within estimate and also on the lower end fo the time estimate he gave me. They used caulk to clean up edges which I hadnt seen from the other drywaller we used in the past but I think everyone has a different system. We would use them again ... though hopefully we dont have anymore roof leaks -ha!

The first time I had him help me was when I needed our ceiling patched from a water leak. That same project included painting a portion of my home. He removed the popcorn ceiling from my dining room and master bedroom. The dining room looks incredible, and it may be the best room in the entire house. The master bedroom is breathtaking with the new paint and no popcorn ceiling. Ali's attention to detail and fantastic skillsets left the dining room smooth and beautiful. A few months later, we had Ali's construction come back and finish painting the last portion of the house. The whole place looks beautiful and consistent. He always does what he can to ensure his tenants are happy, and when we message him he responds ASAP. He has been upfront and honest with us in every interaction and is so refreshing after years of renting from large corporations. What few repairs or maintenance that have been needed were quickly fixed in a timely manner. His homes have always been immaculate when we move in, and he has been so accommodating when it comes to move-in scheduling When upsizing, we thought of no one we would rather rent from than Mr. Pittman, and as long as we are renting in Knoxville we hope it will be from Pittman Properties.
